Do folks still use case

It’s not difficult to actually look after something properly, you know. Like put it in a pocket without anything in there that might scratch it, or pay a little attention to where you put something down.

yes i admit if you make a effort every day, but i found it difficult to keep that up day to day

All these Post people saying they scratch their phone without case how. All mine have been mint after I past them on. Wife got my 12 pro that still mint

For me, my job dictates when I need a case/screen protector.
The phones look great out the box but you have to look at your own personal situation and the environment they'll be used in.

Loose jogger pockets are the ones to watch out for. My phone as slipped out my joggers getting into my car a number of times.

I turned my iPhone 5 into a banana once due to this exact thing happening. Tried to close my car door 3 times and then looked at what was stopping it closing... my phone! I've always had either insurance or apple care so I don't bother with cases. Never have on any phone going all the way back to my Nokia 402 (5110)

Naked for me. Never really used a case although I usually buy a cheap one if I'm going away and thing it's likely it could get damaged (i.e. skiing or something). I occasionaly get a skin for the back which stops it feeling as slippy.

Mine goes in a case but no screen protector. I use mine in quite a tough environment, engineering workshop, taking calls, emails and taking pictures of broken things :D

No matter how I try I generally pick up a screen scratch at some point but can't stand screen protectors. Cases with raised edges are enough to save it from the occasional tumble onto concrete although cheepo cases work better than apple silicone which looks lovely but doesn't last imho.

Usually in a case, occasionally bareback. I'm usually very good at not dropping the phone or letting it fall, putting it in places that'll scratch etc. Screen protectors are vile though, I'd never have one.

I used to be brave enough to use my iPhone without a case but now that phones cost £1000+ and screen replacements are expensive, I can't not use a case with screen protector as any drop can be very expensive if you break the black glass or the screen

That’s what insurance is for.

Always have a case and screen protector - way too easily damaged and scratched in my experience to consider using it without them or having to mess around with insurance claims and restoring a new phone for the few quid they cost. Wouldn't even risk not having them on a newer one.
