Might be the Best upgrade anyone had, but NOT one of you ever mentions how fast the ssd drive fills up because of Microsofts Updates..Anything less than 250GB is Useless in my experience over last few months. Within one month MicroCrap has given me 20GB of Stupid Updates. Please don't tell me this does not happen to any of you. Critickal & Important are the only ones I install for Micro..I use a Samsung 128GB ssd as I thought that would be ALL I ever will need..Well it would be if it was not for MicroCraps Updates.
38GB Left on the darn ssd. Too Pricy to buy bigger..I can buy 3TB HDD for less. YES, it will be slower in start up etc. But I find not much difference between my two PC's, except start up is quicker with ssd, but after that NO difference whatsoever.
So if 10 to 12 second startup is what you want, go buy one. If 24 second start up is No Big deal, then stick to a HDD...JMHO

Whole heartedly disagree. I had a 120GB SSD in the past and it was completely fine. Always had free space. So, i will tell you, this "20GB of stupid updates" doesnt happen to me. I had BF3 (40GB) and other games on the SSD including adobe software and i had free space.
+ OP, dont listen to this guy. SSDs do more than just quicken the boot up time, and also., people have to wait minute(s) for bootup and the system to become responsive. SSDs will bootup insanely fast and also be responsive from when you can move the cursor.
Programs, in fact, windows feels much quicker when opening and searching for things.

Just bought an SSD last night after reading this thread.
What would you consider you get the most benefit from putting on it? I'm thinking: Windows, AVG, Browser, Games, Adobe suite.. that's it really. Anything else you think I should put on it?
