Out of interest do you intend to lie about your job as well DF? Only the majority of construction workers are school drop-out losers with the career prospects of a discarded fag-end, so I doubt very much you'd want to be seen as associating with such degenerate louts if you're trying to impress your old school friends?

Will you be assuming the mantle of a proper job instead?
 
I really can't believe the furor this thread has caused. Wind-up or not, it's a legitimate question and a lot of peoples comments have shocked me. Fair play to ferret for taking it on the chin.

These companies exist for a reason, is it wrong to want a beautiful woman on your arm, to impress people, to make yourself feel good through having some good company with you.

I don't think any of us would have a problem if he were single. You're forgetting he's got a girlfriend. I guess blokes wouldn't care less, but to a woman this is a lot more hurtful. How would you like it your GF paid porn studs to do her over because you're too small?

Yes, because I'm male I'm obviously completely insensitive and immune to emotional hurt. Besides, your analogy is completely out of context, he has a sort of girlfriend, however, he wishes to hire company for an evening. You're talking about my long-term girlfriend paying a male-prositute with a mammoth member to service her :confused:

Right- if the OP hires a escort the GF (if she finds out) would feel gutted, like she's hideous and doesn't want to be seen with. Hurt feelings and all that. It's the sort of thing that can easily break up marriage...you don't want to be seen with her because she's quasamodo.

On the opposite side, if the GF goes with Lex Steele the OP would feel gutted that he couldn't satisfy his woman, being that a willy is more important than feelings (at least coming from a blokes POV) then you would feel inferior because she had to look elseware. I don't think you can compare it if the GF hired a male model as a date for a school reunion, we would probably shrug it off "meh don't care, just bring home a 24 pack of beers" :)

Oh, I see. So rather than offer a vice-versa scenario, you've just come up with a completely different set of circumstances, acts and an entirely different situation to offer a comparison?

My point being to a woman hurt feelings can last years. A good example would be if she saw you passionatly kiss another woman.

And compare to you seeing her kiss another man passionatly.

I'm completely confused as to how you can believe these are valid analogies... He isn't kissing another woman, he isn't sleeping with another woman, he doesn't even HAVE another woman. Just a 'sort-of' girlfriend. I'm rather unsettled that in one statement you claim that a woman is far more readily hurt than a man, and in the next breath you claim their feelings are exactly the same. Do you believe that a man's feelings can't be hurt as readily (for years) as a woman's, or not?

You also, have completely nullified what you said earlier about their feelings not being the same, because of their difference in gender. A laughable notion might I add.

You seem to be missing the point entirely in that my comments were intended to reflect the view that you have absolutely no idea as to the situation. As such, it's quite suprising how eloquently you've proved my point :) ta.
