It'll get worse, people like spitzoid, michaelmk86 and duran who deliberately seek out ATi orientated threads to go and derail will have a much easier time.

maybe, but who ever will stand out more and if anyone has not got a good word for nvidia or ati they shouldn't be in that part of the forum for ati or nvidia full stop.

Why? There's trolling, and then there's voicing opinions.

Ive owned 7 nvidia cards and 2 ati ones.

I will never own an nvidia one again, they dont care about the customer, just their $$$$. They wont fix a driver issue (that happened to ati and got fixed back in x1600 days) that happens with their 200 series cards because they cant be bothered, or dont care.

The fact i will only buy cards from ati in the future, in some peoples minds, makes me a fanboy.

So i cannot therefore post on these forums ?

Which is perfectly reasonable assume, but come on what are the chances?

I'm sure even if they wanted to, they're gonna struggle to be competitive with prices as it sounds like they're making yet another monolithic GPU that is big, expensive and sucks power harder than a, actually I don't think I need to finish that comparison...

That card Rroff mentioned sounds like it's going to be the 5870 competitor in performance, but I reckon it'll be competing with full PCs in the price department.

Well they'll have to find a way to be price competitive, unless they expect to sell cards on the back of "we're the fastest, but you're going to be paying £600 for the right to own one".

It wouldn't make any difference at all.
Poking light hearted fun at a company with relevance to the topic & the unfolding discussions i have no problem with.

Like The way its meant to be renamed & the batman pic i posted because both have relevance as NV has extensive renamed & will be doing with its next gen while ATI will not be for the most part & my batman pic is because of NV response to the 5xxx was with the batman game.
If the it was on the other foot it would not be something that i would complain about because there is truth in them or they would not be funny if they were purely made up.

Driver & personal hardware problems should have there own threads because people have a habit of generalising & exaggerating which is not funny & will derail a thread fast.

A proper discussion is nearly impossible as it only take 1 person to not want a proper discussion in any thread to set things off.
Either through intent, misunderstanding or wanting to save face when they have been put straight on the matter & end up digging a hole.
