Do we have a Black Friday 2018 Deals thread

I'll be looking out for a Freeview PVR Humax FVP-5000T (ditching sky for Freeview to save money) and new router TP-Link Archer VR2800

On the hunt for hue bulbs and a basic laptop for my mum.

My birthday and pay day always seem to fall on Black Friday weekend so I’ll probably pick up a few luxaries too this year.

I'm hoping that this year I can get a new AV receiver for a good price. I want one with 4K, HDCP 2.2 and at least 6 HDMI inputs, as my current Sony 1050 whilst does 4k, doesnt do HDCP 2.2 so currently my XBox S has to be connected directly to my TV, but my ARC doesnt do HD audio, and my PS4 whilst connected to the 1050 doesn't do HDR.

I am therefore looking at the Sony 1080 or the Denon 2400

must have the stuff is just end of line stuff they want rid of or like ASDA, where they roll out a cheap Luxor super duper size TV which you couldn't even buy any other time.

For most things they're not as much of a deal as retailers make out, as misschief says, price raises in the weeks leading upto it before a sudden price drop.
This is true, but you can use sites like camelcamelcamel.com and ************.com to check how much the prices were in the months previous.

65" Hisense if they drop back down in price RS were doing them for 530 but I missed them :(
theyve now bumped the price to 599 and dont really price match anywhere other than JL now

I've just noticed that there's a new Amazon Fire TV stick (not the pendant version), with a slightly faster CPU, hopefully they'll have an offer on of those, could do with replacing the gen1 version.

Camerapricebuster.co.uk is also very good for photography related things.

Looking out for a dishwasher this year and maybe a robot hoover. Always interested in hue at the right price.

Doesn't look like it. That's still £50. The cheaper one has been reduced though. Shame really as i thought about picking one up.

Looks like they no longer do the pendant version either.

I really fancy a pair of noise cancelling headphones. Very have the Bose qc35 on offer but I really fancy the Sony wh-1000xm3, might wait it out.

I thought the CPU was the same for the 4K pendant and 4k stick.

Edit - looks like it's clocked higher, you're right.
