Where do you stand on calls from withheld numbers?

Answer because it could be important? Don't answer and if it is important they will leave a message?

On my mobile it could be work so I have to answer it. On the home phone no way. Also if I pick up and there is a pause I hang up instantly as it means they are patching me through to India.

I think you have that the wrong way round.

If someone calls from a withheld number they are the ones hiding something.

9 times out of 10 it is a sales call or a marketing survey.

Generally, no. Call screening is there for a reason. Companies opting out of it can **** off.

I do, if they talk Eastern European with a distinct accent like they are trying to sell you something.

I reply with the same accent and offer them some products.
