The urge to buy something you really don't need? Practically twitching here thinking of snagging another 3870x2 to crossfire it. But at the same time its not really something i need or going by most benchmarks would even see any benefit from (beside peenmark).

Um yes:

I went from a HD3850 256mb to a 512mb version of the same card just to see if there were any performance differences (quite a lot actually)

I then splashed out on a 8800GTX (despite not needing one).

I then splashed out (again) on a water cooling setup despite having decent temps with air cooling

Now tempted by the 9800GX2 (I really don't need this at my resolution) but needing a second car kills any possibility of getting one of those.

I can't resist the urge of a new toy to play with (plus I get bored very quickly once I have reached the limits of the card)

Didn't though, desk is too small, it'd be too close to me.

Well..... I just finished putting my first rig (see sig) together about 3 weeks ago...... I'm already sitting here with a 'shopping basket' totalling my next months wages.....

been lusting after an Antec 900... came across a used one for a really low price (if i had the cash, well... well, i woudn't have the cash) and all of a sudden, my mind goes off thinking, hey... better cooling for my PC... but with all those fans, i'll need a better PSU; why not scrap this Hiper and get a Corsair HX620? with that extra power, i can power another card... and oh wait, i want a q6600 as well...
