That looks nice lol, any more info? might take a looong ride there sometime if/when i get new bike :p

Snake Pass A57 Sheffield - Glossop - (Manchester)

also another personal fave of mine is the cat and fiddle shown here

You guys appear to have the best roads. I live just inside the m25 and as you can imagine, finding a decent road is pants. Although saying that a friend "boroughed" on the pretence to purchase a 355 spider. We then proceeded to let it loose on the "mad mile" which is a road between woodford and Epping in NE London. It was the scariest situation i have ever been in, doing 120 on a road which although is dead straight has huge undulations. the car almost took off..... My mate said afterwards that he the steering went light on several occasions

Its short to drive along, but it right at the end of the coast, so you can have a nice relaxed drive along the seafront then a caining session. Really nice iced cream shop at the end of that road too :)

Its looks tame, but trust me, your doing well to crack the 60 limit in a lot of parts.

'cause I don't have ma boots/wheels till then...I get to drive the missus's car at weekends when she comes to see me, but that's it. Just sorted insurance on my next car, parents are getting it MOTed etc. will have it on the 20th, but don't want to mess around in it till I've finished my exams and gotton all my uni stuff back home...so the 28th. :)

I don't tend to have any routes like that due to speed limits and lacking of liking of roads with no white lines, but there are many fun roads in Devon and Cornwall. Haven't as yet experienced any around Bournemouth yet though...but then that's because when I'm here I'm driving my girlfriend's car and she's in it...so have to be good. :p

Can't wait for the end of exams, will have my own car and a couple months to play. :D

InvaderGIR, sorry fella, didn't realise the situ. Absolutely wise to wait till after exams.. Good luck to you... :)

Well it will get a fair ragging on the 21st/22nd...as I'm bringing it up to uni for the last week...that's 125miles of NSL (60mph) A roads, and not much of that dual carriageway. Unless I break down (should probably get AA or summit), I'll be having some fun with it, legally of course. :p

Yeh, back in Launceston area there are loads of fun roads, not quite so fun as some people have shown, but still good. There are some fun roads on the south between Launceston and Bournemouth...found out in the missus's Clio. :D

Yes, but a bit dodgy when wet.

It's called 'Lower Burnham Road' usuallt full of bikers :D on the way to Woodham/Burnham.

It's full of twisties and huage straights that slope down, which is great as you can see any other cars a mile off to give you time to ease off :) .

Spot on. My great nan lives in Southminster. I do the good thing by seeing her and mowing her lawns, then i do the bad thing.. use it as an excuse to go down that road.

InvaderGIR, Not that i know the area that well, there must be hundreds of clear roads where you are.... ;)

I have to drive at least 15-20 miles for anything resembling a decent drive. Sooooo frustrating....

Yeah, I have fun roads on my doorstep. :D

Here is a fun route, the camber and corners are so much fun :D

Also nearby is Roadford lake/reservoir, which has a dam, which is a fun long corner, just using the actual length of it I got the clio to some fun speeds...only didn't push it 'cause my missus was with me. :p

I will have the car here during term time next year, so will find some around Bournemouth.

I take a very fun back road all the way to work every day :)

The "Six Mile Bottom" stretch is good for highly illegal speeds most days.

This is the route that all folks from my town over a certain IQ take if they work north-side of Cambridge :p The only alternative includes the A1307 which is a death trap and full of idiots that don't understand the concept of merge in turn

I live too close to the m11 to warrant having a more exciting route to work. So tend to just go on the m11 and a14 to cambridge science park. Every so often I take the same route as you by bottisham and to six mile bottom but then onto the a11.

How great would it be if the government allowed a few of these roads to have unlimited speed limits for set periods of the day, generally early in the morning with signs stating to other road users that there may be a possiblility of cars approaching with extreme speed.....
