Do you have passion in your life?

For most I wonder if it isn't so much a case of not having passion as much as not having the time to indulge in their passion - I know it certainly is for me. I find my job interesting and overall would say I enjoy it but is isn't my passion. That comes from hobbies outside work - mountain biking, drawing, cars, games, photography. I just don't find the time to indulge them all as much as I'd like while I'm working. Though I do often combine them too by drawing cars, playing racing games, photographing mountain bikers. I'm also off to the Festival of Speed next week so will be combining my love of cars and photography too.

It sounds a little wishy washy but I think the important thing is not to only have a passion but take the time to indulge that passion.

Fly Fishing

its such a treat to relax way out in the middle of nowhere with nothing but the sounds of the moorland around you, great way to clear your mind and direct my focus

100% agree. Haven't been fishing this year yet though

I also love DJing trance music. You can get lost in the music for hours and if a mix goes off well, it's a great feeling of satisfaction.

Very true, I'd add to that to not force yourself to keep doing something if you are no longer passionate about it. Having a passion isn't a fixed thing, it will change as you grow and the things you once found engrossing might no longer keep your interest. If that happens don't feel bad about no longer having a "passion" but instead look for something else that takes your interest. That's all passion is really, a deep interest in something which I think most people do have but wouldn't describe as a passion as the word gets blown up as having to be something that takes over your whole life.

I can't find it now but watched a good video about career advice and how the advice to "follow your passion" is terrible as passion is fleeting. Its rare to have a passion that will stay the same throughout your long term training / education and even rarer to have one that will survive being turned into a daily job. A career that keeps your interest and a hobby outside of work can be far healthier.

Suffer with depression on and off as well as living in near constant pain so being happy and enthusiastic a lot of the time is just a no go.?

Exactly the same here mate, depression on and off and also suffer with pain 24/7 (thank you Diabetes you ******* ******) so no, no passion in my life either! Spend most of my time feeling quite numb. :/
