Do you have your own towel?

How did you fail to see I use the black towels and nobody else does?
Wake up.

However talking about the old days back in late 50s early 60s we had a tin bath in front of the fire.
Every Sunday it was filled up once, I got in first and when I'd finished my Mum would get in and we she had finished my Dad got in.
Before that I got washed standing up in the sink.

That takes me back to the 70s when as a kid I sometimes had a wash standing up in the sink too.

Did you mum put you through the mangle to dry you out?

Depends what he means by a "single use". Whichever towel I use to dry myself after a shower goes in teh next wash, because it's completely sopping wet and no use to anyone as a drying instrument :p

So I guess that's "single use".

Isn't that normal?

Or you could put it back on the towel rail and it'll be dry and ready to use again the next time you have a shower.

One towel should easily last you one week if used once a day! You don't need to use a new towel every day.

Each have our own towel, use for two days then wash so we stagger it and last person to use the shower uses that towel to try it.

Thought of using someone else's towel with dry skin cells on it is grim to me.

I use a towel, wife uses a different one, daughter has a different towel, hangin on back of bedoom doors in prep for trip to the shower, after shower dumped in wash basket, and towel on door replaced.

You use a towel once before washing it? Do you roll around in mud all day and have no ability to shower correctly?

No... hang it up to dry then reuse.

Just the two of us here and we use the same towel for a couple of days before replacing it. We also sleep naked and not always in the same bedroom, it just depends how we feel. I'm sure that will make us no better than animals to a lot of you!

What I do. Only used to wash water off me as sponge does the dirty work and have a shower only so hang up to dry and reuse a few times.

Own towel until washed, right? Surely. Though my sister believes that a towel can only be used once before being washed. Surely this isn't a done thing?

I live on my own, so own towel. Simple.

I will only use a towel once and then put it in the washer, this is a bath towel for when I get out the shower. So for that use it is MY towel - after being washed its free for the first person to grab it in our house. But we all only use a bath towel once before wahsing it.

Hand towel remains in the bathroom for 2 days and is shared between us*

(* me, my wife and son)

Communal hand towel, separate bath towels.

This :)

There's been times where I've forgotten to take my towel into the bathroom and ended up using my other half's after a shower, she's seen me wrapped in her towel and gone mental so now I've been well trained and will always use my own towel!

I like my towels old/worn and scratchy, none of that "soft towel" rubbish ;)
Ah so i'm not the only one, cant stand new towels, might feel all soft and warm but dont dry you for ****, i'll take a nice beat up old towel thats lost its fluffyness any day i feel the older it gets the more absorbant it gets, i want to get dry not smear water around my body.

I have two towels which are mine, use one for a week or so, after each use it goes on the heated towel rack so that its dry for next use, when its time to wash it, i use the other one, and repeat the cycle.
