do you indicate at roundabouts?

I always indicate when it's busy. I don't when there are no cars behind me and no cars going into the roundabout (because that's when i take the roundabout at 40mph+ and you know it's dangerous to take both hands off the steering wheel at that speed!!!) :p

There's a roundabout in town where everyone seems to think that you don't need to indicate. It's very busy in the afternoon, which is when you get the most ignorant drivers.

Near where I live, there's a combination of no indication, correct indication, and quite often, people will indicate they are coming off too early, so you think they are coming off you your 'entrance' so you pull out, and they keep on coming, normally blasting their horns.

all depends ...

if its late at night at its empty .... no

if i am going straight over ...... no

if i need to let other road users know of my intentions .... yes

I indicate whether there's other people there around me or not.

I have tried not to indicate when there's no one around, but it just bugs me. Trying to break a habit I guess.

I'll indicate left for the first exit (even if its straight on) unless its phsyically off to the right on the roundabout in which case i indicate before turning off.

I indicate right if its the last exit and i always indicate left before turning off on the exit.

Annoys me something chronic when people don't indicate.

Driving a large vehicle I can tell you now nothing irritates me more than idiots not indicating on roundabouts. It makes it SO much more difficult to get on the roundabout.

I was referring to people driving 360 degrees around the roundabout and thus making the queue longer as they have to give way to the selfish morons.

I indicate at all times, a huge majority now do not indicate when turning right so you have no idea if they are going straight across or not. if they are turning right & you have pulled out then they have the nerve to blow their horn or whatever.
The island up the road where we live is a nightmare as two roads appear at the island almost parallel & most want to go down the other which means going almost completely around. Seen so many arguments & fist waving
& near misses

I have been known to pull out infront of cars which have come round the roundabout without indicating, then they beep and abuse me but i just laugh it off.

Another pet hate is people sticking to their lanes on roundabouts but thats a whole other thread.

Err, actually you are... here's the highway code about intermediate exits..
granted you may not have to indicate while waiting to come onto the roundabout, but you should always indicate before exiting..

That's what I meant, no indication before entering the roundabout.

Depends as most of said... Mini roundabouts I will indicate my intention.. IE if im going round to the right, and not straight over.. larger ones that and I also indicate off where appropriate..

Don't get me started on that!

It seems to happen more often on the bigger roundabouts connecting different motorways together.

Bigger roundabouts = more room in the lanes but some people still can't seem to get the grasp of it.

I indicate in my truck on roundabouts all the time, I wonder why I bother in London especially - nobody takes a blind bit of notice. :(
