Do you lie to your other half about the price when you buy stuff?

I've never fibbed to a girlfriend about cost of stuff, but I regularly lie my **** off to my mum about stuff.

Yeah can't tell the mother they just moan about it, mine moans when i even mention spending anything.

It's only expensive/frivolous stuff I lie about. If I need something, I tell the truth, but if it's really daft like an airgun, an RC car, or something like that, I usually chop it in half
