Just wondering?

Reckon the biggest lie I ever told was in primary school, a few of my mates had game boys which were seriously cool at the time. I used to tell people I had a game boy, but I never did.

I think that was possibly the biggest lie I have told.

I do tell the occasional white lie, normally when the wife asks how much something was, I take the actual figure and half it. Otherwise in life I am pretty honest, sometimes to my detriment because I say it how it is, so I lack tact, completely, but people who get to know me know there is no mallace behind it.

But do you tell lies, if so, what and why? This is a reasonable anonymous forum so unless you know people know you so you will get caught out, why not share? Has to be a releif spilling the beans no?

Depends what the consequence of being honest is in the given situation. If it will just lead to conflict and arguments that I cba to get involved with sometimes I'll just lie.

Actually I just remembered another one.

I was probabnly about 14 my mates mum when I was round his house was going on holiday to america and asked if I had ever been and I said yes.

But then to try and cover it up I said I was little at the time and couldnt remember much about it.

I once told my primary school teacher that my parents had won the lottery. They hadn't and didn't even play it. But he had the best response ever which was, "well don't tell everyone or they'll want some of it".

I also lied to @Blackvault when we were 8 or 9 and told him my dad has a company car which was a rolls royce. He neither had a company car nor a rolls royce, he drove round in a Fiat Uno. Fortunately we've stayed friend ever since.

I only lie about penis size.

I don't want to get anyones hopes up, so I always underestimate.
A downer for an upper. Not bad.
But surely saying it like it is would be the biggest surprise? They won't believe you, but then BAM, right in the face?
