I try and cover up my tattoos where ever possible. What was a good idea 15 years ago, doesn't look so great now. I look like I've just got out of prison.

Tats dont make you look like you have come out of prison any more it just looks like you watch reality shows.

Why do you find the two things to be mutually exclusive?

The weather is not cold. It has been consistently 12-16 degrees most places this week?

Tattoos are part of tribalism, tattoos are about fitting in but to the unaware they think they are new or original, it's about being cool.
It is to signal to the world you are something.

You will tend to find that people like them flock together, they find their people.

The most intelligent see above trends, tattoo's are just trendy like clothes and change over time.
Humans have a need for people, not all people have this need rampantly so out of control.

There is also the factor that we as humans do things in symbols (Symbolism) so we can tell great stories with just 1 symbol or tattoo too.

Tattoos instant turn off for me, like the scribbles people should be scribbling on the inside of a public toilet door are now on people's bodies instead :rolleyes:
