Do you look forward to going to work?

I tend to look forward to it, but there's also another way of looking at it. Do you dread the thought of going to work?

In my current job there has only been 1 day in the past 18 months that I have not wanted to go to work and that was purely because I was fed up with doing a particularly dull but necessary task. Overall though I love the team I work in and the responsibility and freedom I'm afforded, that gives me confidence in what I do and so I enjoy being there.

I'm a litigation paralegal and Windows 7 was my idea.

I really enjoy my job, its the passengers that make it a good or bad day! Some days can be proper nasty!

Are you a boat?

I dont enjoy my job, its a temp job on just over minimum wage. I do love the people there, thats basically all thats keeping me there.
I have applied for another job so all my hopes are on that.

My days vary enough to keep me interested so I enjoy going. I used to dread getting up in the morning for my old job to the point where it was making me quite depressed.

I had a job like that for 3 months, then halfway through my shift i just walked out. Ive never done that in my life, but i felt great and so happy. I knew i had to do something when my family started telling me im a bit quiet.

I'm a kitchen porter- i detest my job and hate going to work- to be treated like a second class worker and looked at by people as if I'm something scraped off the bottom of someones shoe really gets me down.
To be ignored by people and then told to do umpteen million things that aren't really my job by the hotel owner is taking the pee out of my very good nature- but, hey! it's a job and i'm hoping the new year will shine favourably on me and the jobscene will pick up.
ok, it's not all badf- i get free food (when i can grab a break)

No, purely because I've been off 11 days and left the house maybe twice so i'm now too lazy to even get up.

What job was it?

Morrisons warehouse i worked nights, it was just a horrible workplace. They wanted more work out of you all the time. They would have teamleaders walking up and down the warehouse all the time, making sure you didnt stop. There was also a bit of messing the staff about with are pay.
The money was pretty good and you could pick when you wanted to go break, but that was the only perks.
It was getting to a stage where i wasnt looking forward to going in, and dreading the shift.
But thats in the past im in a job that i dont like but it aint horrible. Im just looking forward to seeing what 2013 will bring:)

Yes and no!

Yes: Sea view office, sea view commute (by boat), sea view walks between buildings and get some shopping done around duties.
No: Getting out of a bed that’s so so comfortable :o

I enjoy going into work, I work on a service desk in the public sector. I work evenings and nights so commute is quick as there's hardly any traffic (what would take 45 minutes in the day takes about 15-20 in the evening/night) and I get to plan my work how and when I want.

Most days I hate going to work, but when I remember how awful it was working the jobs I did before I kind of appreciate the one I've got. Plenty of money to be made !

No, not often anyway, sometimes I might have a particularly interesting job to do or site to work on but generally I see it as a part of my life that is something I have to put up with and look forward to be able to go home and see my girlfriend and friends come 5-6pm.

I don't think I could cope with an office job, too many people thinking they are special or they have a particularly important job.

In summer when the weather is good and I'm outside in it all day instead of being stuck in an office is great. But when the weather is like this and its freezing cold, I dont want to get out of bed.
