1: Drinking lots of water certainly helps, but it isn't always enough if you have flaky or hypersensitive skin.
2: The whole "real men don't moisturise" meme is stupid and trying to propagate is makes you look like a Neanderthal. Not all guys wants to be knuckle-dragging deep-grunting hairy he-men.
Yes, mostly just when i shave. It's a pretty good acne prevention technique.
Quit stripping your skin of it's natural oils and you will have no need of expensive facial treatments and other such marketed nonsense.
There is nothing knuckle dragging about that, it is simply common sense.
9/10 it's really not.
If you're moisturising and get pimples you need to stop using the crap you are.
Get one that is oil-free, non - condegemic and made from mostly natural ingredients.
True. Some of us cannot avoid contact with oils, etc. Cannot run a machine wearing gloves, and barrier creams only do so much.
Curious, you say stop stripping your skin of natural oils, what do you wash with?
Moisturise and facial scrub twice a week. Ah Nivea for Men, creating gay men for 10 years
Its the modern day equivalent of rubbing dirt in your face to remove dead skin then having a shower afterwards.
If you have skin problems, use E45, and ditch all the other stuff, and stop using water that is too hot, that is where most people have issues.
) and i carry a small tub of 'green' (Aloe Vera) Vaseline, i'd say it's much more effective, and practical than E45.Well I always get dry skin on my face so use E45 quite often.
In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an ice pack while doing my stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial masque which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion. There is an idea of a Patrick Bateman. Some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me. Only an entity. Something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours, and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable, I simply am not there.
