Do you play games that melt your system? State your GPU and temps for the whole system.

Dont forget to read properly too Woody! ;)
Same curve... 10c cooler on 5800x.

Nice performance increase too.

Took a while, I had to play through the game from the beginning to this section.

Still waiting on the delivery of my fans.

Visuals still look good. You going to return the 5600X or have you had it too long?

In that first pic, is that light grey dust on the inside of the fan blades?

Could've gone with 140mm fans for the two intakes. It's the final 1/3 of a blade chord that does 90% of the work.

Dont forget to read properly too Woody! ;)

Must do my homework properly...... F minus.

At this point you must be trolling.
You know you are both wrong but keep going chaps. Got to continue like a pair of dumbs.

Light dust and it showing up like a fire at night from a camera flash yes. That must = 90c on a 5600x and the PC shutting off.

Come on ... The slowness is annoying me.

Unless you mean I changed which fan blows out?

Then I take it back. Just a simple switcheroo.

Installing the Noctua fans...

Noctua fans installed, mounted the rear exhaust fan externally to widen the gap, it is going to be needed when the Fuma 2 arrives anyway.

2c drop in CPU-Z test.

With the Fuma 2 installed we reach a peak of 86c (AVX) in Prime 95.

This is a very unrealistic load so am happy my thermal solution can cope with it, the 5800x is doing a lot better than the 5600x before it.
The 5600x would fail after the first run and shut the PC off.

RAM is back to it's rated timings, everything is stock.

I am beating out a dude who used a 360 WC setup.

The Fuma 2 is not that noticeable in performance difference at maximum load with AVX but it is at the same normal load, 61c vs 70c and quieter and it can handle more wattage.

I have configured the Fuma 2 the opposite way and done it as a pull system rather than forcing air at the heatsink, letting the Noctua fans air brush around everything easier since my theory is that having the fan closer to the Noctua's means the CPU cooler is sucking all the incoming air up faster and thus no other components really have a chance to get cooled.

That is the theory.. in practice.. well. It works well enough.

Are you doing an apple to apples comparison, looks like yours is the blend test vs a small FFTs test? for me that is a 20C difference and the small FFTs causes me to hit 89C pulling 161W CPU PPT. My 5800X seems a bit meh though compared to some on the forum :p

Huh good point.
Heck not even AVX load?

That's even worse for both chips both were blend. I assumed the sudden temp increase was due to AVX load otherwise it just sits at 72c (5600x with AC 34) 71c (5800x AC 34)

With the 34 only the 5800x could pass blend after the huge temp spike.

However what I assumed was non AVX load the Fuma 2 is roughly 10c cooler but peaks similarly to the AC 34 under AVX.

I used to use Prime 95 on the Phenom II and 2700k and I never remember the Phenom II having this huge jump in temps. Nor the 2700k as P95 was not AVX capable when I tested it.

Ryzen 5k are insanely hot chips.

Personally I limit most of my games to 60FPS, Yes I know it's heresy :p But this way my system stays cool and quiet.
