I bought a new toilet roll brand yesterday.(Aldi) All is not good. I'm having to use twice as much toilet paper!

Tesco normal stuff is ok, or the Andrex when it's on offer from Amazon subscribe and save. Not worth the drama swap to much else, I swear some of the family eat the stuff.

No... sainsburys or co-op or whatever is available.

If its disappearing fast its one of the "cushioned" or quilted which is basically 50% air. Or its simply packed loose so it uses less material (why do you think it was cheap in the first place?)

No, what ever decent one Costco have on offer. If you need more than two to stop your fingers going through its a no go for me.

Reminds me of a pub comedian from many years back,
“The toilet roll comes in three sizes, thick, thin, and eeew!”

I use Lidl’s own Floralys soft white. Strong and soft.

Cheap loo roll is usually a false economy as use more and sheets are sometimes smaller.

If you like a finger up your butthole then Tesco toilet paper is ok, otherwise Andrex or Cushelle. Both last far longer and don't feel like you're scraping your anus off with sandpaper.

That's my rule of thumb too. In my experience anything above the very cheap end works well enough. I'm not seeing the value in paying double or triple the price for extra thick quilted coconut oil infused ad campaign, let alone just for a brand name. I'm just wiping my bum with it and flushing it away. It's not a display item.
