Restless leg? I've had it all my days but never went to see about it, normally take co-codamol or ibprofen when it keeps me up all night. First time I've seen anyone with it or on medication for it.

Yes Restless legs.

I took/take Co-codamol but sometimes it wont touch it, I've been twice over the years to have it looked at, first time the Dr's started helpfully but then were not interested so gave up.

With a new GP now and the RLS is having a spat keeping me up so i asked again, have had blood tests and as per last time nothing of concern but i do have some fatty deposits in my liver which I'll be having a scan for.

The tablets were prescribed to see if they help which they do, i can take a max of 2 which are 10mg each so small dose, they don't stop the feeling as such but help to make you fall asleep, trouble is i find it hard to wake up also :o

32 and take nothing.

If I'm ill which is rare I resist taking meds and want to tough it out like a man. Last time I was ill was about 3 months ago and I had a migraine for 5 days before I started taking Migraleve which took 2 days to clear it. I didn't know it was a migraine until I described how I felt and someone told me.

Head trauma is something that doesn't effect me. I've had maybe 3 headaches in my 32 years on this planet and 1 migraine. I've never had a hang over so I'm sorry.. I don't see what the fuss is about the morning after a night of heavy drinking. I'm not a social life drinker, if I drink it's to get drunk and I've drunk to the point of vomiting, and I wake up the next day ready to go while my friends lay around moaning like the living dead.

I can only explain it, in medical terms I don't know what's wrong, or right with me.

Yep, Dimethyl Fumarate to try to slow down my Multiple Sclerosis. However, I may have to stop taking it as it's knocking my immune system down too far leaving me at risk from PML (a generally fatal brain virus) -

Hopefully will get results next week to see if my immune system is still down. If so, I'll have to try another treatment. Unfortunately the other treatments are all injections....damn

Im suprised at the amount of people saying yes, im guessing a lot of us spend too much time at the PC and could cause some health problems down the line.

I would love to know if a lot of us PC users need to wear glasses, i've started to see pretty much everyone i know who uses the PC a lot wearing glasses now, im starting to think i should get my eyes checked out soon now im into my mid 30s.

Yes, loads of **** for severely acute atopic eczema. Just wish they could invent something to stop the constant itching, even after all these years it still drives me ****ING CRAZY! In fact, it's that bad I even have to use eye-drops (artificial tears) because it's causing the membrane on my eyeballs to dry out.

Yes, I have severe anxiety(I'm not sure it is but the doctor said he "thinks" it's anxiety) I take Propranolol and Omerzaprazole for my stomach as the Propranolol goes for it I think.

I had a very bad breakdown a year ago and I'm still recovering, I used to be on the following 3 times a day:

10mg Mirtazapine, 40mg Propranolol and 5mg Diazepam

Now I only take the Mirtazapine and Propranolol in the morning and at night. I have come off the Diazepam completely which my doctor is pleased about.

So does anyone else find such widespread reliance on medication worrying?

I mean a thousand years ago people with issues simply couldn't sustain their lives and died, which meant the living and reproducing population was far more healthier. Nowadays anybody and everybody with problems is artificially sustained and allowed to pass on their crap genetics.

It could be argued that there are those on daily meds to keep them and their 'crap' genetics going who, 1000 years ago wouldn't have needed those meds as their conditions are man made.

Should we cease curing cancer patients, for example, in the hope that those genetically predisposed to the condition would eventually die out due to natural selection?

Most people have eye sight issues and most people don't bother with their glasses and most people interact with a PC on a daily basis. In a work environment it's a health and safety issue to wear your glasses if using a PC for extended periods to prevent eye fatigue. If you experience problems and don't have a prescription your work probably has a scheme to get your eyes tested.

It's more like PC's identify the issue not cause it.

Square eyes is not true, it's what your mum told you to get you outside of the house so she can watch, EastEnders.

I pretty much had the same thing a break down when my dog died right infront of me for no apparent reason(Tried to resuscitate him and everything) only 4 and a half years old, But my anxiety problems did not start until 3 months later in the middle of the night when I had stomach / chest area pains and I got rushed to hospital at 5am, Done scans /blood tests etc they found nothing (Yet)

At my worst I had a resting heart rate of 128. I have had all the scans and tests, I have also seen a few therapists as well. I have group therapy starting in a few weeks

Just over half way through a four year course of pills for an auto immune disease. Slowly being weaned off them and trying to avoid a flare up. Down to five a day now, started with about twenty!

No. I generally have an asthma inhaler with me somewhere but I only take it maybe once every 1 or 2 months these days.

Asthma inhailer and at moment nose spray for constant clocked nose. Into BUPA Monday to get my ENT consultant so have a gander. Human snot machine which tends to lead to constant chest infections. Was on nowt until i reached 47, 49 now.

Yep. 20mg Omeprazole every day. Got really bad acid indigestion. I can get away without taking it if I cut out pretty much everything except plain bread and water. Alcohol, spice, vegetables, fruit, red meat all set acid indigestion off to the point of severe pain and acid reflux without tablets.

Can't remember the name, but some anti-allergy ones which help with itchy skin and any hay fever symptoms I get.
