Food doesn't irritate me so much - I eat food strange enough to be rejected. It's pens. ALL of my pens go missing. Nice pens, normal pens, carp pens, highlighter pens.
And mugs.
And mugs.
Taking others food is theiving plain and simple. If I caught anyone doing it I would call the police and report a theft.

Little much calling the police. Just confront the person yourself. Unless that person was was an ass and was stealing just your food... then again, how would you prove to the police that the food was actually yours?
Let's be honest, you wouldn't really would you?
Hows it different to taking say your MP3 player off your desk?
Pretty sure that sign does not change the law."property left at your own risk"

Yeah I understand that they themselves would be stealing - but I wonder if they could sue you I can imagine it appearing in the news these days
