Does how you are personally perceived affect how your threads/posts are seen?

I know thats your answer, you'd pretty much already told me :p

I was after a cross-section though. The thread turned out pretty well, even though zefan spammed it.

Say you're to start a thread.

Say you're a well-liked and well-known member.

Now say you're either not known or not liked.

This thread is about the differences between how people react to the former and how people react to the latter.

Aaaahhhhhh. Yes. I know some people usually have interesting things to say.

Did you honestly think this thread was a vehicle for me to say that I've been told by people that they've never seen me spam?

No, I thought you might be asking what you were actually asking but it wasn't clear enough so I thought we were just waffling.

I also thought you might mean do you see people differently online when you have met in real life...

I did ask that one in the thread, but that wasn't the initial intention.

Everyone knows that your actually a posting bot, and not a real person Gilly, so isn't this thread a little pointless :p
The thread isn't about me, bot or not ;)

So does the fact that this thread turned into a success where it could have fallen on its ass actually mean that I'm one of those people that others feel readworthy?

Is it egotistical if its true? ;)
