Those scenes in Korea look fantastic. My folks were in France during the world cup in 98 and said it was amazing, but I doubt it was as good as that.

I actually pity people who don't get WC fever, whether they want my pity or not, they get it.

The best sporting event in the world. The best atmosphere. People showing pride in their team. Even the idiots in the country being nice for a month. The beautiful game, being played by the best players in the world, with games on EVERY SINGLE DAY.

Win.

Yeah all those yobs coming out just pretending they're being patriotic by beating random people up. Watching a game played by over paid fairyqueens who get injured at the sight of a ball let alone contact. Yep i really enjoy that! :rolleyes:

Now the Rugby world cup, all the good parts, patriotism, atmosphere and people having fun without all the yobs! Players that get knocked out and incur fractured bones but still play on without moaning!

Yep ill be waiting for 2007, until then the TV is off unless im watchin Tennis!

Those pictures terrify me just looking at them. I hate loads of people around me, I think being in that crowd would actually kill me. It would be fun, for me, if it was just me and a few others there.

I was wrong to moan about the world cup - it has been BRILLIANT. Went shopping on Saturday and places that would normally be rammed were deserted.

Wish they had England games on every day, as nowhere that I go would ever be busy.

Not being sarky either - glad football supporters are enjoying it and it's nice that us non-football fans get a bit of peace and quiet.
