Theres always arguments at work when it comes to making the cuppa's, with some people saying I only drink 1 or 2 a day so im not making them for everyone. Was just wondering if this happens in your work place?
 
I'm just about to start a new job and have no intention of making tea/coffee for anyone!

I dont drink it and i shant be making anyone elses either!
 
usually the lazy people get involved in the drinks rounds so they have an excuse to skive..... well in my office anyway.........
 
I get one made for me every tea break :D

(although it makes it very hard to ween myself off tea because of it.. i'm starting to think a 5 a day tea habit cant be that good for a 21yr old!)
 
out of the 8 or so people in my area, whenever someone is off to the bogs they stop by the drinks machine on the way back and get a drink for everyone.
 
Nah no arguments at my work. It's simple, anyone asks me for coffee they get a caffeine death mug with 4 large espressos in it. Live through that and I'll happily get them another :p
 
No, I work with grownups.

edit: Also my job's so boring any excuse to get out of the seat is okay with pretty much everyone, so people tend to have about 200 drinks and 200 wees a day.

We have around 8 or 10 sat near us. We always take it in turns to get the brews in. Except for the woman who sits next to me. Always two busy or just needs to send another quote off to get a round in for the team. Thing is she has no tact whatsoever so there is no way in shaming her to get a round in.

Really grinds my gears
 
Mmm, didn't really see that as an offensive word yewen. Its only a female canine. 5 asterixes would have been lovely.
 
We get someone come round and dish out with vats of tea and coffee on a trolley twice a day. It's not good but its free and stops any arguments
 
Hmmm, there are 3 of us in our IT office. None of us really give a hoot. We all drink hot drinks so its basically whoever is least busy at any point in time. No point making a fuss about it. We just deal with it. Considering one of the three is my boss It seems to work for us anyway :) in fact, he makes the best tea :p
 
I wouldn't mind but the coffee in our place tastes and looks like dish water so I really dont have an idea how we go through ten rounds of the stuff :confused: Although I do make sure I alternate between water and coffee

I suppose thats one solution, I like my coffee strong but thats just mad.
 
Normally just shout across the workshop "anyone want a cuppa."
Those that don't reply or don't hear, don't get one. :D
Only 4 in the workshop anyway. :D

As said above, it's the lazy people who get the coffee. I was doing it all the time :p.

I'm trying to cut down on coffee now, so if I offer to make a round, I'll always end up having one, especially when I smell the stuff brewing.

I'm slowly turning onto decaf, as I love the taste of coffee but I'm sick of peeing like a moose and being dehydrated at the end of every day.
