Does your postman delivery letter post when it been snowing ???

I hate this thread... I was just walking down the street and saw a cold looking postwoman, and thought of this thread and couldn't stop myself laughing. Got some pretty strange looks from randoms on the street. They must have thought I was a complete loon.

She delivery the letter post!

I had parcelforce deliver a package yesterday (Sunday) at 1pm. I was amazed. He even had to leave his van 100m down the icy drive and walk to the top to deliver it. Commitment!
 
Yer, my postie just delivered some stuff (and gifts) here.
First time ever have I had good service from RM here, must be the new postie :D
 
Despite my previous post on the matter, I no longer receive delivery letter post any day of the year. Delivery letter posts must be collected from the delivery PO box.

Delivery parcel posts will come to my office though.

Still. At least postman is consistent here in any weather.
 
The postwoman around here has only not delivered on two days I think. She delivered the post this morning while it was chucking it down with snow. Still yet to see the last two Christmas presents I need to be wrapped up though.

The postman last year for some reason decided to walk half way up my road to my house and put the post for every house on the street through my letter box despite walking past half the houses on the street already :S

Luckily for him instead of being a mischievous person and opening everyone elses mail I decided I'd be nice and deliver it all to the correct houses.
 
I had around 70-80 packets for my delivery today but ended up taking around 12 spread over 4 bags as there simply wasn't enough room in the bags with all the mail we got hammered with, tons of snow on the ground as well but got all the mail delivered ... will be worse tomorrow so its going to take quite a while to shift the packets.

Was meant to finish at 1415 but was out until 1630.
 
I went to the post office earlier today to delivery letter post some christmas cards. I fear my relatives postie won't be as efficient at delivery letter posting as mine is.
 
My postman delivery letter post to my kitchen table sometimes. The catch on the back door is knackered so if not pulled closed it can open by itself. My brother often leaves it open when he goes to work and the postie finds it open, pops the post on the kitchen table and closes the door.

He used to give me a lift to schol if I missed the bus and pushed my car up the hill the other day when i got stuck.

Epic service if you ask me. I think the world would have to end before he stopped delivery letter post.
