Does your postman delivery letter post when it been snowing ???

We had post yesterday but not today. Although it is that much worse today. All schools and most transport was stopped / closed today but yesterday most was running and all schools open, even though we had a good amount of snow drop.

Actaully supposed to have a veg box delivered today but I think that's going to be delayed.
 
It's not up to the postie if he delivers, he wont be allowed to in this weather, a few posties went in today but got sent home soon after.

As far as i know almost all of the depots in Scotland are closed and no mail has been coming up to the sorting offices, will probably be the same tomorrow.

seems not, inaccessible my ass

no way did they attempt to deliver as the postman doesn't show up until after 11am.... no way did they try at 9:19am
 
Royal Mail delivered to work this morning and my Hermes delivered a parcel to my roof however Royal Mail didn't pick up the post this afternoon, they sent out an email beforehand saying that it's probably not going to happen.

They probably went home because of the weather and got told to scan all tracked items as inaccessible due to weather, we done that yesterday although we had most of our delivery done before they told us to abandon it.
 
Yea my postie came this morning.

wish he had not bothered, did his usual trick of leaving the post half in and half out of the letterbox

Icy cold wind blowing right through it by the time i got downstairs and realised the whole of the downstairs was like the north pole.

Then discovered the central heating has packed up, frantic 5 minutes running around getting some oil filled rads out of the conservatory.

Now sitting with a duvet around me waiting for heating guy to turn up to fix.

seriously considering hiding behind the bins tomorrow morning with snow shovel and giving postie the bad news with it XD
