  For as long as I've been able to use a PC (circa 1993) I've vehemently dismissed consoles as kiddies toys, but now I'm not so sure...  This is because I am currently contemplating an expensive upgrade, but the question I keep asking myself as I grimly consider the damage to my credit card is, why?
