Do you make many double decadence pizzas?

I'm a dominos addict but these seem to range from amazing to dry and meh

P.S come work at my local :p

Domino's ovens use a 6 minute timed conveyor belt set at 235 degrees, usually it should be impossible to over-cook or under-cook pizzas, because you literally can't put them back in because there would be a pizza behind it. In this instance i imagine the oven was either a) old or b) not setup corrently.

That's what I thought, they're doing something wrong then as a mate has also stopped ordering from them due to the same reason, no one wants dark brown cheese and a firm crust, they should look like the ones you posted.

I call it the garlic custard dip as it looks like a pot of ambrosia Custard more than a dip lol. It lets the side down for papa Johns they need to sort it out

Haha this is a very popular opinion, I think we should start a petition :D Its garlic butter isnt it? Why anyone would want that for pizza crusts is beyond me.

I order from Dominoes at least once a week, sometimes more. Quality is always fine. My only gripe is the price. If I saw some monkey stick his finger in my pizza though, then I'd stop buying pizza's from them.

I once worked in a kitchen of a busy restaurant and witnessed the head chef drop a steak on the floor. He picked it up, plated it and sent it out. Disgusting. I guess when eating out or ordering takeaway food, you just have to trust them.

At a deal price dominos is good value. At full price is mental. Our local one seems nice quality.

I tend to just get a large pepperoni and meatballs for 8 quid.

@terley Why do they arrange the pepperoni to look like a wang? Also why did they drop that chicken tikka pizza that was trialled a while back?

What do you think is the explanation for variance in how the pizzas are cooked. I've had more on the undercooked (very runny cheese) side that overcooked.

I had one of the 'normal' pizzas on the Italiano base the other week and it was great. Also like the Italiana garlic bread.

@OP - No, it's not normal for them to stick their finger in your pizza!

Never been to Dominos and never will. I've seen the calibre of the staff and drivers that work there, the type that wipe their bum with hands and not paper. Plus the hygiene ratings are very low. Same goes for Subway.

Oh and the wedges usually just come from Aldi next door.

Where do u actually eat then if u want to grab something quick for lunch? Surely that applies to every fast food/sandwich place?

Only places with 5 star food hygiene ratings. Also wouldn't say a Dominos was a quick lunch type of place.

When I was working I had a job at Indian restaurant - The old owner took me to where job was being done which was through the cooking area - As we got to the sink he sniffed a bit then coughed and aimed a real big greeny into sink - never been to Indian since.

Only had one Pizza out and that was Pizza Hut - years ago. - In fact I am not a Pizza fan

OP should have grown a pair tbh. I'd never have let that slid, and 'having a cold' is the worst excuse ever. You trailed to the shop, collected, but couldn't open your mouth to stand up for yourself? Nah. Walking home and then binning it? Jeez lol... :o

@terley Which branch are you at? I lived in Birkdale for ten years but I'm in Liverpool now. Is it the one that is (was?) on Shakespeare Street by the roundabout? I may have to place an order if they all look that good! Not had Dominos for years.

Need to learn to complain properly. Last time we ordered dominoes they sent a normal sizzler instead of a veggie sizzler (ordered online, no confusion possible). They came out and delivered the whole thing again, making the same mistake, they then came back a 2nd time again, re-delivering the whole older finally getting it right.

We ended up with 6 large pizzas and £60 credit for £20 order.

Why do people post in a Dominos thread saying ‘I hate Dominos....blah, blah, blah’? We all have our preferences, you’re not going to persuade anyone.

The Brighton store manager just phoned me and asked about the incident and asked me to describe the guy who served me. He gave me £20 credit to use is his store but I wont be going back there tbh.
