so CNN's standard is to call it the 'Wuhan coronavirus', OK, got it. @CNN fanboys, they are your rules to follow now, CNN has spoken.
Obviously the intent in calling this the China virus is to create anti Chinese sentiment or cast blame. It has nothing to do with naming conventions or anything else.
ust as the Obama birth certificate rubbish was purely a tactic to smear him as he was black.
Now, those are less overt than when, say, I rib a very good friend of mine about being Nigerian and always late, but the intent in my words and the relationship I have with him changes the way he receives those jibes, and as such he will go along and rib himself for the same.
Yes it is, especially when used contextually for the specific it just it's only a hate crime in certain countries.Using 'Wuhan Virus' isn't hate speech

No. Most people still think he is an idiot.People still think he's bluffing![]()
No. Most people still think he is an idiot.
A few however one for example would be the United States of America (it's pretty big, you may have heard of it), various states/cities have outlawed "Chinese virus", "Kung Fu Virus", etc. Ted Cruz was especially annoyed about it lol.Which countries?
Bit of advice, if you're gonna ask people to explain something for you then flame when they don't, it's customary to wait an appropriate time (a few hours is normally good in case they're working or sleeping since making the post you quoted), moaning that your question is ignored in the same post you ask the question is asinine.I guess not, your making things up.
Stated, past tense, they also stated there was evidence that vaccines could cause autism, before that evidence was debunked and they stopped reporting it, just like they stopped using "Wuhan Coronavirus" after COVID-19 became the official term and the Wuhan/Chinese terms became taboo.Anyway, CNN states it's 'Wuhan Coronavirus', so follow their rules.
Fair point.Think implies he may not be. Most people still know he’s an idiot.
Except that the Spanish Flu did not originate in Spain at all. So calling it that really doesn't make sense.Technically it is the 'Wuhan Virus', using the term Chinese is too vague. like Ebola, Zika, marburg, West Nile, Lyme, middle east repository syndrome and rocky mountain spotted fever are more specific to where they came from. Of course, you still have the same people who are faux offended but are OK with German Measles and Spanish Flu as generic disease names.
You do realise you can embed tweets so they actually show in the post??
Or you just can't work it out.Doesn't work for me, mods have probably stopped me from doing it

Have those countries convicted people for using 'Wuhan virus, Ebola and Zika virus?
