Don't ever play rugby with a Samoan

Your description had me full-on wincing in my chair. Glad it popped back in okay in the end though. :)

Ouch! That sounds horrendous :/ I imagine that there are various degrees of dislocation, this one being towards the more extreme if there's more than one direction involved. I guess the difficulty involved in getting it back in place goes to show how tightly parts of our bodies are put together!

I had already discussed the possibility of me slotting a doctor so she had my arm wrapped around her thigh between her legs.

I presume 'slotting' means hitting? :p

My mum knocked a junior doctor out when she was giving birth to my sister so I can fully understand your desire!

Hehe, I know your pain. I used to play loosehead prop. I dislocated my thumb at a rugby match in my late teens. It was the first half and coming out of a collapsed scrum ,I noticed my thumb had decided to point in a weird way. I just pushed it back into place and played on. i scored a few tries that match.

i miss being young and dumb. If that happened to me now, I would probably weep like a baby.

Been there Gilly!

This is from back in like 2004/5 from a Basketball themed P.E lesson. Ball bounced up weird and just clipped the finger. Photo doesn't show it very well but the finger also goes back (towards the viewer) the same angle as it does to the side.
Fortunately for me I went into giggling-fit shock almost immediately so it wasn't painful at all.

Good stuff, we have matching spazfingers :D (Spazingers?)

Did mine playing rugby at Uni, fractured twisted and dislocated left little finger :p Weirdly didn't hurt though, they injected it with a bit of local and set it then told me to go home and was back in the pub for the apes-game :p
