Don't Look Up (2021)

Decidedly average. Dicaprios worst film that I can remember. He was still good in it, he always is.

Wasn’t a comedy, wasn’t a satire, it was some half arsed mix of the two that ultimately failed at both.

Wasn't the best of movies, but it raised a few chuckles and had a few 'yeah, that's about right' moments. I have to commend them on the effects of the comet strike and the 'lifeboat' spaceship design though. Although, how it didn't get shredded by debris is a mystery, but hey ho.

It’s a little long, but I found this a well rounded and entertaining film. Very funny in parts, particularly at its most subtle. It was also sad, but in an appropriate way - there is a lot of noise and squandering in life and the film captured it well.

If world was going to end, and there was nothing to be done, would you want to know?

You wouldn't want to try to stop or reduce it? Just give up?

Side note but in reality the world is actually going to end on day. But that doesn't mean we can't survive elsewhere.

How weird, this morning I have just watched a film called Last Night On Earth which is about an extinction level meteor hitting us.
To be honest don't waste your time.
