Because it doesn't show AMD leading. You must have realised by now that it is his way? I personally don't care for who is winning/losing, so long as the game is playable for me and friends.
I was hoping there was some logic !
Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.

Game support neither of themopenGL and soon Vulkan
And don't call me Shirley![]()

That's because for Resident Evil from 4-6 felt more like action game and simply didn't have the same atmosphere or feel that 1-3 had. What I meant was Doom 3 and DeadSpace series were more like Resident Evil "done right" in 1st person and 3rd personDoom never felt anything like resident evil to me. First time I have thought about it or seen the two mentioned in the same sentence actually. Lol
I also do not care for the multiplayer portion, just hope single player is good![]()
Yea well, it was the other way round with layte think the benchmark he quoted is more accurate because it shows Nvidia is dominating AMD, claiming it should be more reliable than the one in the 1st post of the topic![]()
Why would Vulkan even the playing field? Vulkan is a none bias API with no advantage for AMD. Vulkan is the fairest most balance API I am aware off. Are you saying AMD is at a disadvantage in DX games? The Vulkan Patch should be very interesting and should even the playing field on the AMD side of things. This is due to both Nvidia and AMD being able to make Compliant drivers that adhere to conformance tests.

Although as i said in my post, there are many reasons why AMD is behind in OpenGL performance.
http://richg42.blogspot.co.uk/2014/05/the-truth-on-opengl-driver-quality.html Seems to indicate that AMD (sorry, vendor B) cannot even get the basics right without breaking stuff, never mind the extensions.
The Dolphin devs are not too happy with them either. https://dolphin-emu.org/blog/2013/09/26/dolphin-emulator-and-opengl-drivers-hall-fameshame/

Don't matter on Windows directx 12 and 11 work perfectly played through couple classic games
I believe amd knew Vulkan API was coming and just choose not to put enough time into OpenGL.
But in saying that I haven't had any problems with openGL on Windows games.
Knew Vulkan was coming for like the past 10 years?![]()
2 excellent sources that people should read before they blame OpenGL. It perfectly explains why as an occasional OpenGL developer I won't go near AMD if I have a choice.
Linux not worth it! Well that is one way to loose customers.
From Gaming point of view it isn't.. Why waste time and effort to a platform with no games?
Things are now changing, SteamOS is coming and now it makes sense for AMD to start caring about Linux again. Vukan will help here.
Before all SteamOS what did Linux offer for gamers?? Nothing!!
