Doom - The Dark Ages (2025)

I really liked 2016 but I think I liked the technicality of Eternal more, you really had to know what you were doing with the mechanics so I guess it didn't entirely fit into the framework of the series as most people had probably been expecting a mindless shooter.

Not sure what to make of this one yet but what I'm sure about is that the price is bonkers and it's 100% Gamepass material for me from what I've seen so far.
Honestly re the price I get this feeling "they" are just seeing what they can get away with!

That's probably it and well, they're not getting anything out of me:P

Stopped paying full price for games a long time ago unless it's something I really respect as a franchise and want to support, the last game I bought on release was RE4 Remake and the only one I'll buy on release this year is MGS Delta.

£70 ie way too much for this but I'll check it out on Gamepass for sure.

No one will buy it at £70.

A 15hr single player game is not worth that price.

And we shouldn't buy it at these prices otherwise they will start making this the norm.

I'm going to Gamepass it day one and then buy it when it's like £15, Doom games always plummet in price fairly quickly.
