I am the same lol i dont get anything to upgrade or is that on ya level. I also have got back into this game but the last 5 games i have had leavers every single time.

LoL for now until they have a banning system in or summit to stop others spoiling the game for me haha

There is a banning system already in place in the Beta.

Not going to lie, I'm getting fed up with a D/C every game now. I think it's because I have a low amount of battle points and getting put in with complete noobs who quit if they don't like their hero or get a bad start.

Just played a game where my team picked BH, Riki and AM. Was a failure from the start. Most embarrassing of all is that I became the hard carry with prophet!

There is a report system, simply right click on someone's name and click report and it'll ask you why. Players who get enough reports are reviewed and then banned by Valve if they deem it necessary. You get a message if somebody you previously reported ends up getting banned aswell, which is a nice touch.

Nature's Prophet is a carry btw, as is Death Prophet.

I don't know, Is it because there isn't that many people aware of this or have access because it takes so long to find a match? I will be giving it the benefit of the dout tonight because I will be playing it with my brother but wi see how it goes

My brother is completely new to it is there anyone hero any good for a beginner

hi i tyred playing on dota last night and it has installed alright and i have previously play dota on my old build. i now have a new build and now it say the res is unable to work.(the little red box) saying 1400x920 max or sumit like tht. any help wud be greatful

Yeah he is, but supports can have those games where they manage to get a lot of last hits.

As for Lich he is pretty hard to lose a lane with, you can deny xp+get mana back, and your Q is a pretty hefty nuke with a slow.

He also scales great into the late game with a game wrecking ult if used properly, and the armor buff helps everyone/carries a lot. His other 2 skills scale fairly well too.

Certainly one of the better heroes to start with and can be decently fun to play imo.

Dota 2 store, game will be f2p when it launches but if you want in beta now then you can buy one, it comes with some cosmetic items as well. As far as I k ow they have stopped handing out keys to people to give away, only ways to get in are to get invited or to buy in.

The best way I've found to get keys for DOTA2 is to buy 2 Treasure Keys from the DOTA2 store (they're about £1.50 each) and trade them for an invite on Reddit. There always seems to be people doing the trade, and that means you can get in the beta for about £3 instead of £25 for an official invite purchase.

Sure, but Support comes in different flavours. Lich's support comes from strong auto-attacks and multi-target burst really early, which is super sick when laning with a carry. I lane as Riki with my friend, who plays Lich, and I basically get to sit and last-hit for as long as I want (Until some idiot comes and pushes the lane way too early) because my friend is constantly denying and harassing, and uses a build which provides early HP regen for myself. Once we both have ult, I sneak behind, he bursts them down with Q and Ulti and I get to finish them both off. It's a good combo in lane.

We both feel that Lich is probably stronger at the lower levels where we're playing however. Doubt he gets to roflstomp as hard vs a higher skilled, more co-ordinated team.

Lich is still picked up sometimes and has even banned by certain professional teams. He's an extremely solid support character and works at every level of play.
