yes, they might have a lot of the same bands, but its the different bands that are dragging me to each lol

Personally I think the line-up is looking promising now: Dream Theater, Lamb of God, Machinehead, Killswitch Engage, Megadeth, Slayer and Shadows Fall are all confirmed. I've seen all these bands before but I'm still looking forward to seeing them again. If Mastodon, Tool, Opeth, Meshuggah and Pig Destroyer were to play then it would be a near perfect line-up for me.

They should drop the emo day and just have 2 days of solid metal goodness. Oh and drop the price by about £60. Rip off!

days have been announced via a myspace bulletin (not on the webby yet as far as i can see) and a load of new bands announced...

sunday is going to be a 2nd stage start, mainstage middle and 2nd stage finish.

gotta love pasting stuff directly into word and print screening

The Headlines for this years Download is such a joke.

Some good bands playing though I guess, Slayer, LOG, Manson, Dimmu, Maiden, Devil Driver...

how about stop complaining about the headline bands and look at the other bands!

this years has a far better overall lineup than last year, FACT! i cant see a point this year where there wont be a band i like on one of the stages.
i'm not going to be on the mainstage for any of the headline acts.

It's still a bit annoying, MCR and Linkin Park should not headline at all , but yeah the other bands make a pretty decent lineup.

why not? they're known all over the world, they're selling millions and millions of CDs and are loved by the masses. WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT, THEY ARE FREAKING HEADLINING MATERIAL!!!!!
