I’ve just switched back to Aquasuite from icue as had a couple of CP fail but also had an Octo fail yesterday luckily have an AE 6XT lying around
True... ive spent in excess of £2k easily in the past 2 months lol and i still don't feel 100% satisfied! I really wish i went with the xl to begin with so i wouldn't have this issue now. In all seriousness if i do come across a secondhand xl i will probably make the jump. New price is just not tempting enough to switch yet.@Jay85 its not just the radiator space you get the 4 3.5 quick swap bays.
Plus cable management so much better plus you can sell your old case.
Oh and there’s A RGB strip NBC in the front
mind u I do think it should be £40- £50 cheaper
trouble is if u do u will want that front distro now that’s costly.
you have spent enough this year and your builds great.

Thats a lot of devices on the usb headers- hope it all works out well as seems to be well plannedI went with 2 Aquacomputer Active Splitty fan controllers to manage the fan grouping. Ill use one for the exhaust and the other for the intake, which will take up two CP fan headers. The other Fan headers will control the Flow RPM, power the Inline Temp gauge and control the pump RPM on channel 6. For RGB control, Ill use 2 Lighting Nodes which will connect into two of the CP USB headers. Ill use the 4 temp headers the CP has to read the inline water, ambient temp and the GPU backplate. The Commander pro, PSU and any other USB2 device will then plug into the NZXT USB splitter which will connect to the Motherboard. I think that all makes sense lol. Hopefully this will all work and be stable.
did you consider going with aquaero? much more possibilities than any motherboard will give youI went with 2 Aquacomputer Active Splitty fan controllers to manage the fan grouping. @OC2000 forgot I Also have a Creative to fit so vertical out for me too.
you might want to raise up the intakes thinking the bottom fan will be dead zoned due to bottom rad and fan.
you got any idea what to do with the second set of USB ports plug base of XL? Board I have ordered only got one usb socket for that plug
Ah how come you didn't get the flow and temp combo unit from Bykski instead? I looked at these but found the Bykski one instead which does both and saves a lot of room. Good build so far mate, looking good! Let us know how you get on with the MP5 back block, be interesting to see how you plumb this in as its recommended to do it in parallel.
I saw yours in your project build thread. Unfortunately the only one I could find any info on before buying mine was the TT one which looks pants. I didn't see yours until I had already received mine. They still look good though, so not going to complain about it.
I am going to run the MP5works in Parallel. The inlet will be attached to one of the spare ports on my HW Labs SR2 bottom Rad and the outlet will connect to a T line between the GPU outlet and Distro plate. I will cut the outlet tube down to run along with the Flow and temp wires making it look as neat as possible.
Yeah 2 inline sensors do look baller tbh, i do like the look of it. I wouldn't be able to do it in mine due to lack of space lol. Gonna be interesting to see how you put all this together and the lines you run, always intrigues me on the routes and bends people come up with.
