DPD Delivery Drivers Are *****

No it was for a mobile phone upgrade. I have no doubt you'd offer a good CS experience than what I'm receiving at the moment!

I'm not judging DPD on one delivery, just making the observation that the driver in question is a useless ****.

I doubt it is intentional, most DPD drivers are paid on successful deliveries, so their aim to deliver is usually high as they get more pay. :)

You may just be unlucky, speak with the phone people to get in contact with DPD and I am sure they can help you. I help all of our customers I deal with straight through to ensure all is sorted if there were any issues to occur. :)

I have this laminated and stuck on my front door.

"Deliveries : I am in, any problems call 0891 50 50 50"

-replace chatback with my mobile :D

DPD have always been fine with our deliveries.

Same here, had a delivery this week in fact. Email to say they'd be here between 10:38 & 11:38. item dropped off before 11.
Personally I've never had a fault, that's not to say there aren't a few lazy drivers

I wonder if the package will be at the depot by this evening before 7:30pm when they close?

You should be able to arrange a depot collection, speak with the phone company to call DPD so you can arrange the collection. Collection is usually possible in these cases but it needs to be arranged first. :)

This shows how awesome 5ub is. Even if it's something that isn't to do with OcUK he will still help out :D

About as good as the DPD driver who left all my PC parts in a big box outside of my apartment in a communal reception area that the public have access too in full view of the street.......... was awesome.....

+1

This is classic DPD unfortunately.

The same driver delivers to my work place every single day so he knows that we are always here during business hours.

Yet when it came to the day to deliver my monitor he left a note saying no one was in. This despite the entire car park surrounding him being full with cars.

He even had a contact number for my mobile and our office which he didn't ring :(

What you need is a big posh glass fronted office with a lobby etc, preferably with an attractive receptionist. Deliveries never fail to turn up.

Never had an issue with DPD, always been spot on, they were the reason I came to OCUK as they are so much better than Citylink who the company I previously bought my IT gear from used.

I am quite lucky where I live. DPD, Yodel and Royal Mail are all spot on. City Link are god awful though, left a 40" TV on my garden path.

I had an issue like this with UK Mail just yesterday.

I checked my tracking number and the site stated that no one was home and I had been left a card. In the comments they had written 'BLUE DOOR'.

The thing is, there was no card with either me or my neighbours; however I do have a blue door, a very very visible blue door from Google Maps - ah hah! You big lying fish sandwidge, I'm onto you.....

Lets see what they do today.

Paint your door green now. Then call them and say that your door isn't blue any more but coincidently it still is on google maps.

DPD and suprisingly Royal Mail have been pretty good here for the last few months, CityLink is just pitiful, yodel very hit and miss and the regular parcelforce driver refuses to deliver to the door anymore just because of a minor mis-understanding with my dad - always was extremely grumpy when he did deliver.

EDIT: Don't even get me started on how poor DXSecure are.

Are you sure your Missus wasn't just busy with her "noisy" toy & didn't hear the door ?
