DPD Delivery Drivers Are *****

Never had any issues with DPD myself, always been fantastic.

DPD deliver to my area and are fine and its a bird :p

Thanks peeps

Consider yourself lucky they managed to find your door to card you

Better than my local yodel drivers seem to manage

In regards to dpd they aren't perfect but they are one of the better couriers

Is there anything you think we could do to improve our service, based on your experiences?

Thank you Bobby for helping. :)

Nice to see someone from the courier company on our forums. This is not what you see every day. :)

There will always be mistakes and problems with any company, however DPD I find is the best courier company we have ever used.

I had the same exact problem last week!

Funny thing is that we have two receptionists at work and no one saw DPD turn up, which shouldn't have been hard to miss given we work in a glass building.

After complaining, they phoned me saying they had turned up but someone had told them to wait 15-20min which prompted them to leave immediately. I know for a fact that this didn't happen, made doubly suspicious when the driver the next day said that it was an agency driver that had turned up. Regardless of their excuse, they never even came up to the floor the address on the parcel had told them to...

Hi there. Irrespective of the reason, I'm sorry that you had an issue. If this is a recurring theme, then get in touch with us at [email protected] with details and we'll look into the matter.

About as good as the DPD driver who left all my PC parts in a big box outside of my apartment in a communal reception area that the public have access too in full view of the street.......... was awesome.....

Hi Woogie. I'm sorry to hear that. Our drivers are given authority to use alternative delivery methods in certain circumstances - i.e. leave in a safe place, or leave with a neighbour. Though it doesn't sound as though your goods were left in the best place.

Was everything okay?

Yep I've arranged collection but the automated voice on the phone said it would be ready for tomorrow. I'm too impaitent :)

+1

Let me know via the email I've posted if you need any support or information.

I'm really sorry that you've had issues on this occasion, and I hope things are more smooth next time.

Yeah everything was OK in the end thanks :)

I've had a delivery from YODEL recently, I saw the guy was sitting in his van writing a 'You were not in' card the moment he pulled up outside my house (no attempt to knock). So as he went to post the card through my letter box I opened the door (which made him jump out of his skin :D ) and asked for my parcel as he could see I WAS in! and once I'd signed, I gave him a earfull about me having to take time off for 'vague' delivery times etc..., took his name and Van number and phoned his head office and complained!

Saw the same van a few time since, but there appears to be a different driver!?!

DPD are great for me, always Mike around the same time.
It is Royal mail who are the idiots, just because I have a gate and a driveway they do a stop and run most of the time!
Thinking about taking the postbox down from the gate so they have to come to the house and I can catch them!

Brilliant courier.

I get deliveries from DPD on a regular basis. To date they've not let me down. In fact had a delivery today, came in the hour window they said it would on the email.

Guess it depends on your area and the people working in it.

Thanks guys

While I've never had a problem with DPD.
My usual driver looks depressed. He literally just throws me the parcel and the electronic device and off.

My Yodel driver however seems to be a fair bit better.

I'm sorry to hear that. We do pride ourselves on being customer centric, and we encourage all staff across the business to convey a good mood. We think that overall our drivers convey a fantastic image; the overwhelming majority are a cheery bunch (believe me, I've visited depots up and down the country, and if some of them weren't drivers, they'd be stand up comedians!). I guess it's just one of those things that occasionally people will be in a bad mood (not ideal, I know!).

If you feel that you're not getting the best possible service, feel free to email me some details - [email protected]

To be honest, I live in a rather obscure place. I've had probably about 50 or so deliveries via DPD from OcUK and other etailers.
They're the only company that ever find my house, and also have never failed to deliver within their allocated time slot.

Also the drivers are friendly :D

No issues with DPD in my area. The driver is a laugh too, top bloke. :)

I keep telling my company to switch to DPD from City-Link as they keep losing our parcels. :(

Had an order shipped last week but the sender didn't bother to put any phone numbers on it, the DPD driver, being the star that he is, remembered me from a previous delivery and brought it to my work place :D

Unfortunately, like everything, there are people who do their job well or just couldn't be arsed. Thankfully the local driver falls into the former category.

Sounds like great initiative from that driver - really pleasing to hear :)

You make a great point too. If you order from a company who ship through DPD, make sure they're passing on your mobile phone number and email address so we can send you the one hour delivery windows.
