DPD - Follow My Parcel *5th August*

I have a delivery coming tomorrow but I am out between 11:00 and 13:00. Is it worth informing DPD of that? Or can I still change it to deliver with neighbour after I see the hour delivery window in the morning?
 
I've only used DPD once, and I was unlucky. It wasn't great, parcel woke me up at 7 in the morning and at 7:30 I get the text saying "Your parcel will be here between 7:41 and 8:41". Seems legit.

Not going to let it put me off though, only one bad experience.

you can change the delivery date or choose deliver to neighbout, you'll get those options when the time slot is sent to you.
 
Ordered gfx card yesterday, ocuk says its been despatched, but goto track it on dpd site the number isnt recognised
 
I didn't get a follow my parcel link with my order last night and no email this morning to say it's out for delivery. Had to go to the DPD site to get a delivery window. Anyway it will be here before midday.
 
If your tracking says it doesn't work, put 1550 in front of your tracking number and it will work. Just a glitch. :)
 
Email saying no one in! Two calls to DPD and it's arrived. The drivers handheld device had the incorrect house number but the waybill is correct. Panic over and 900D has made it upstairs.
 
I have also not been able to track my last order (due today). Both links in the email from ocuk take me to a page on DPD that says "Your search did not find any matching tracking. Please refine your search criteria." Using the URL that 5UB mentioned below gives a "We are currently experiencing issues retrieving your parcel information at this time. Please try again later." message. When I phoned OcUK you guys have a logon onto the DPD website and the OcUK rep could see that my order is on its way and due in a couple of hours time.
EDIT: I also tried putting 1550 in front of the tracking number on all 3 of the URL's I have used.
 
the 1550 worked for me. I was sat here thinking that id have to wait till monday for my order, but it turns out i will successfully be able to upgrade my htpc in the old case and hide the evidence before the missues gets to see hwahahah
 
gotta say dpd for me is the only delivery service that hasn't let me down (yet) Glad you guys not only sell us good stuff but actually make sure we get it as well
 
Yeah DPD seem to have improved a lot, drivers usually arrive within the first 10 minutes of the hour long timeslot.

I did however pay £12 for Saturday re-delivery and nobody showed up, that was a bit annoying, but unrelated to OCUK though.
 
City Link are now following suit (somewhat). They give a time-slot now! Not one hour, but between 2 and 4 hours it seems (and it's not guaranteed). I just noticed this on an Amazon order that I have coming today:

We're On Our Way,
estimated time of delivery is:
Between 12:30 and 16:30*

Let's hope other couriers follow suit and that City Link improve this so that they give an actual one hour slot like DPD do!

DPD are still the best!
 
used to like DPD but lately they have been really poor.....they lie to customers about the customer not being in to sign etc.......and my latest delivery from ocuk didn't turn when it supposed to either lol......driver couldn't find address....lol
