DPD - Follow My Parcel *5th August*

Getting fed up of seeing messages on tracking like this:

I can see from the name of the driver that it isn't my usual driver, but why on earth don't they just ring me? They have my number as part of the consignment because they text me in the morning with the 1 hour slot.

Wish they would invest money in drivers who strive to deliver instead of predict services.
 
After ordering my first item from Overclockers, I was amazed my this feature!

And finding out that my GTA V Collector's Edition was being sent via this, means I can track him constantly!
 
I've yet to have a good experience from DPD. When i ordered my PC parts from here they delivered it a good 9 hours after my 1 hour slot, and got a 3DS delivered by them from elsewhere and they left it outside

Next time you have any issues with an OcUK delivery, please let us know so we can let DPD know. - If DPD know about the complaints, they can work on it to improve it. :)
 
Is this feature not provided with all orders? I am expecting a parcel today but haven't received an email/text with a link to follow my parcel. I am only able to use the standard tracking on the DPD website.

Was hoping to see the 15 minute window but looks like I'm going to have to change the delivery date instead (going to be out for half of the hour they've stated).

Didn't bother and it turned up just as I was leaving the house. I was considering changing the delivery date to avoid wasting their time but glad I didn't bother now.

Hopefully next time the follow my parcel thing will work for me.
 
I found last week when placing an order that the follow my parcel didn't work and there wasn't an email with the hour window either which I thought was odd. I was quite looking forward to this new gimmick too :p. I know its worked previously but I wondered whether it was because I used by Dads account as opposed to mine.
 
Had to RMA the hard drive from my last order and the replacement will be coming tomorrow with follow my parcel active :) (just received the email from DPD).

Glad I never took the day off to build the computer, it estimates delivery at 5pm! One positive is that I will be just finishing work so I havnt had the torture of the boxes sat never to me at my desk all day!!
 
I'm just getting to test this for the first time now. I can see the truck making its way closer to me. I could probably predict within a few mins when my intercom will ring.
 
This is almost as much fun as tracking aircraft across Europe with family and friends on board.

My parcel is with Manolov a couple of roads away.

Oh, I'm not alone in that? Sadly the last aircraft with family onboard was heading into Boston on the day (I think) after Boston Bombings so either it wasn't fitted with the tracker all together or it was turned off(?)
