Dr. Disrespect permanently banned from Twitch

I wonder what it was?

The only explanation I've been able to come up with is harassment of Twitch staff, insofar that there's liability to the company involved and they nuked him as soon as it came to light. I don't think the US has a general gag order, so i'm not sure why there hasn't been any leaks. Doesn't really explain his discord deal collapsing, but I guess there might be communication between the executive officers and they decided it wasn't worth the aggro. Maybe the FBI are involved if it's more serious than that, though there's plenty of possible reasons if that's the case.

Has the reason still not come out yet? Weird that he found out mid stream. If it was a Twitch T&C thing presumably he wouldn't find out by text. Consider me interested.

I found something, but as to its truth idk.

Read it expecting spaghetti. There was no spaghetti. Son I am disappoint.

It's like saying you've never heard of Man Utd/City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal etc when you're a football fan. The guy's one of the biggest streamers there is. I don't watch him personally but I've heard of him, other big streamers occasionally talk of him when something eventful happens. By association you've never heard of Soda, Shroud, Ninja, Timthetatman, Summit etc? Who either play with him on stream or go back and forth on Twitter.

You can't really compare it to football. You hear about football teams on news, adverts etc whether you want to or not. Streamers or youtubers don't really get that sort of exposure, at least not yet. Who knows maybe one day Sky or BT will be advertising that you can watch Shroud and Ninja in 8k on their broadband :D
I never really watched Doc but as you said I heard other streamers talk about him, at the same time I don't remember ever hearing about Soda or Timthetatman so those two are completely new to me.

That's straight up woman-hating garbage and you shouldn't countenance it. Literally saying Doc didn't do anything, it was all a conspiracy started by this mysterious female streamer who was apparently sleeping with everyone except the guy who cheated on his wife. You'd think someone so loose would have enough of a reputation that you could credibly name them, wouldn't you?

There is a reason we haven't heard why Doc was banned, and it's a pretty simple one: whatever he was banned for is part of ongoing legal proceedings. No judgement here - it could be anything from a criminal case to breach of contract. If you like him, though, you should hope that person on the chans is making stuff up. Because if they do know something, it's very likely that Doc did sexually assault a woman and his fans are trying to smear her before the details come out.

Hey I didn't say I believed it, just found it.
If it were true i would speculate that she is someone he cheated on his wife with back when.

tbh if people still watch terrestrial tv and/or sky for society’s news and social media information their likely out the the general age group for twitch and understandably out of touch of what’s considered normal today within certain age demographics.

A popular streamer Reckful passed away a few days ago that was reported in most places online, but not on tv. My point is comparing football to online personalities is one in the same today, 5 years ago I’d completely agree with you.

Which was exactly my point. .....
.(that said I assume you have heard of the raspberry pi)

Yes was just mainly agreeing with your point. Just strange how people have to reply in a persons thread "Never heard of the guy" or "Nobody cares". Also yes i have heard of it :D

At this point it's clearly something serious or involves legal/financial issues that can't be cleared up by a Twitter/Instagram/Facebook status.

Glad there is some sanity in this thread.

still could just be a big hoo har to stir up ratings and likes and views for when he returns. or it is something which is in legal status and cant be talked about.

like i said originally this all happened just as mixer closed and shroud and ninja where available. think its either another scheme to get him catapulted to the top and bigger than ever or its a big twitch thing maybe a package kinda deal with shroud ninja and doc coming together on twitch and making it a big deal. for mass viewing.

surprised we havent heard anything yet. the longer it goes on the more its likely to do with legal matters.

Its not likely a stunt, only reason maybe is that he had a huge boost in viewership when he came back after cheating on his wife. Even then with the whole metoo movement thats a very risky move.
