Dr Michael Mosley goes missing during hike on Greek island

Yeah I'm sure some people think there'll be hundreds of experts out combing the island looking for him, but really it'll be a handful of people, a drone, maybe a dog and some bored locals.
They'll soon all give up if he's not found and it'll just become one of lifes small mysteries.

New footage shows how close Dr Mosley was to safety before tragic death

Dr Michael Mosley died of natural causes on the day he went missing on the Greek island of Symi, according to police, and his body was discovered days later in a rocky area near Agia Marina beach

His 4 children arrived in Symi to joined other people to search for missing dad. He was still in Pedi when he was last seen by house CCTV at edge of Pedi on the path to Agia Marnia beach around 2.30pm, he was supposed returned home by 3pm and his wife waited for 3 hours and 30 mins then he failed to returned before she reported him missing at 7.30pm. Michael was last seen talked to elderly man and other person I think Michael probably asked them for medicine to treat his illness, maybe they pointed to a address at edge of Pedi he walked to a house to get medicine but never left the house, maybe Michael was collapsed with heatstroke and somebody was nurse looked after Michael bedridden for 4 days. Or maybe someone drugged ill Michael and kidnapped him probably something like out of The Wicker Man movie.

There was no way ill Michael would walked through empty rocky path toward to Agia Marnia beach and back home 3 hours at very hot temp. If Michael was naive walked on that path and fainted hit head on the rocks then somebody will had seen Michael and helped get him up and took him to somebody house and Michael would been bedridden for 4 days now at stranger house. The drone found NO trace of Michael on the rocky land around edge of Pedi and Agia Marnia beach.
 
For anyone curious, I had a look on google maps and the last CCTV image is from here I think :

He did some walking from original beach location!
If he was feeling ill why not just return to his hotel or the place they were staying, not sure where that was?
 
Very easy for the heat to completely over whelm you. I think he’s probably fallen into the sea trying to get back to his wife. Sad news but very little hope he is alive anymore.

he means why would someone be filming that scene and focusing on the man with an umbrella?

at first it seems like a doorbell type camera or something, but then it moves like its someone recording on a phone.



someone just randomly stands their filming everyone who passes by and doesn't delete seemingly worthless videos?

I think it's someone with a camera phone recording the footage from a screen displaying it.
