Either he's been kidnapped or murdered in a bodged mugging, or he went down to the sea to cool off, slipped and is a goner.

That path he took has lots of rocks either side, I guess he could have tripped and fell, not sure if the gaps between the rocks are big enough to conceal someone injured.

No Michael did not fell into water at coastal path, he told his wife he was felt very unwell at Saint Nikolas Beach and he walked back home alone left wife behind at 1.30pm on Wed. Locals in Pedi saw Michael arrived home about 1.40pm and later he left home walked to bus stop at 2pm. Michael probably get on a bus or taxi headed to Medical centre or hospital. Very strange Michael left behind his mobile phone at home and his wife probably called all medical centres to find him but cant find him and reported Michael missing at 7.30pm.

Not hard to imagine a scenario, the wife is fussing over him, he gets annoyed and walks out.
