Dragon Age Inquisition

Nooooooo, Dad does not sound right without ultra in front. I am gonna ride that bull, i am gonna spank that bull, he wont be able to sit down for a week when i am finished with him :D. Yeh now that sounds more like me :p

Started playing Dragon Age 2 from where I last saved, this was when it first came out:p I bought all the dlc for it. And I have to say I am actually enjoying it. Its not as good as DAO its just different. The story is pretty cool actually, with a lot of political intrigue. Should have this finished in a couple weeks, so plenty of time before Inquisition.

I'll be playing through the first two games again soon. Looking forward to it, though I have played DAO about 5 times,

I always like playing through DA2 as it is worth reminding yourself how bad a game can be!... And it will always fun laughing at the voice overs for Hawke.

Theres a very good chance my female rogue may "ride the bull"

Well if it's good enough for Dad (and Ace:p) it's good enough for me:cool:....wait what  I feel I'm being mislead:o:D

Enjoy it bakes:) I hadn't played Mark of the Assassin so left that to the end on my second play through. I'm glad I did because I think it was a solid addition to the story as well as showing refined visuals and locations
A glimpse perhaps at the quality of 'The Exhalted Marches' expansion that apparently was abandoned in favour of DA:I:)

Just finished DA2, really enjoyed it, I would say its got me pumped for the story in inquisition now :D
Got both saves from dao and da2 so now that's gonna be carried over to dai.

I thought Freddie Prinze Jr was pretty terrible in Mass Effect 3 but he looks like he's doing much better in Inquisition and his character looks really, really interesting.

After DA2 I was dreading where the series was going but this is looking really good now. Just hope it's more expansive than 2.

Might go back and play DA:O and DA2 a month before this releases so I can get my save ready.

Guys I think you must have missed the info about the 'Dragon Age Keep' which will be used to create world states instead of save importing.

The move to a new engine and new consoles meant that save importing would cause huge issues it seems. The keep is in Beta so you can apply to test it if you want:) I decided to wait until it's actually finished which apparently will be just before DA:I's release. Everyones under an NDA so no info has come out detailing anything other than it's awesome:eek::D

Didn't miss it, just rather have what I personally done to carry on to inquisition rather than flick a few different options on the Keep;)
My saves are from the pc not consoles?

To be honest, I'm not impressed by the combat trailers so far. DA:O had a problem after the mid game because every monster pack became a tedious grind during which you repeatedly cast the same spells/skills, MMO dungeon style. It looks like this game will be similar from this point of view.

Does anyone know if it's possible to interact with the enviroment?

From what I understand The Keep is for all platforms due to the move to Frostbite:) and also to prevent bugs appearing such as from DA:O to DA:2 during import. It should be a good alternative so I wouldn't worry your recent play throughs should be fresh in your mind when the time comes.
I'm hoping it will be for me:o we'll see I guess:D

To explore certain areas you'll need certain characters to open up areas it seems. Such as a mage who can raise a bridge or a warrior who can break down a gate etc unsure how far interaction will go though based on what I've seen:)

Apparently to take on certain creatures etc you'll need to be prepared. Creatures do not level but you may need to break off from a battle and return when you're more prepared:)

Do the characters ever get engaging at all?
I also just started playing DA2, having had it lying around unplayed for about 2 years and aside from having a voiced character with boobs that actually bounce when she runs, this feels even more pointlessly empty than The Golems of Amgarrak DLC...!!

I thought your companions are very engaging, especially when talking to each other when your wandering about. I soon had my favourite companions and enjoyed there company.

I've got the sister, the dwarf and the Welsh elf. I've seen Anders, so I guess he'll join me later. Heck, I can't even remember the others' names... Merril, I think?

I need something like Alistair's jokes, Morrigan's sarcasm, Leliana's fruity sexiness and Oghren's... well, everything. DA:O had me grinning within minutes and loving it within an hour or so, but this is just so very... bland. Uninspiring. Whiny. I'm just going through the motions... Go to A. Kill stuff. Pick up item. Go to B. Drop off item and get paid. Rinse, repeat...

Pretty much every character in DA2 is insane, and will do things that make no sense, that you can't control. It is honestly best to just ignore it and treat the game like a comedy. DAO is the meat of the series, 2 is a sideshow.

Oh, and you pretty much summed the game up perfectly. Going through the motions.
