Dragon Age Inquisition

Dragon Age 3: Lets face it, you're all gonna buy it anyway.

No, not really. I bought Modern Warfare 2, which was to MW1 what DA2 is to DA:O.

I did not buy Black Ops and I wont be buying MW3.

Same with DA3. You get the free pass on account of the first game being great, but if the sequel sucks, I'm done with the series.

Bioware will do what they can make the most from and depending on the sales split that will probably favor the console accessibility rather than the more complex experience desired by PC gamers. Multi-player could work if they do it in a DOW II style co-op with two people each getting two squad-mates to control that could get boring fast though and the combat would need to be very visually interesting whilst you wait for you cool-downs to reset.

SWTOR could be robbed of some players if you can co-op DA 3 though.

2 words. Neverwinter Nights.

DA and SWTOR are completely different. no one is going to look at them and think '1 or the other'.

Gash, let me guess, they've moved to every character, everything you say to them is sexual, and you can't NOT bang every single person on the team, every team member equally does one thing all game, then does something horrifically evil, which makes all the other members want to leave. But to keep all members happy and alive you just use the "go on...." dialogue option at which point everyone throws away their beliefs and follows you and all the evil things that are happening.

Then the combat, new and improved, quick time stuff now, none of that real time rubbish, press any key and blizzard, lightning storm and firestorm all go off at once, the screen just flashes yellow, white and a different white and lighter yellow at the same time but you can't see anything behind it. WHen the fight is over, theres just blood covered floor left. Then you can pick up lots of things like flawless diamonds, and a piece of dust, which are all worth the same amount to shops, wooo.

Lets just say I don't think its going to be a great 3rd game :p

I'm ashamed to say that I tapped out on Dragon Age 1 back in the capital as the amount of quests left me with a sense of boredom and uninterested with the game. Was Dragon Age 2 any better, this looks good but I cant be bothered with stupid amounts of quests.

DA2 had quite a lot of quests as well but probably not as many DA. As an overall game the original is better in terms of storyline and ability to define NPC tactics.

Oh look they dragged Claudia Black out, they must be bloody desperate. Couldn't care less honestly.

DA:O was a masterpiece, DA:2 to me is the definition of everything that has ever been wrong with the games industry.

Bioware died years ago and there is no reason to assume otherwise.

I really hope it doesn't have multi-player... that would ruin it, I find Developers are just becoming so lazy.

Half assing single player content but it's okay guys, we'll just make it so they can do a couple of missions over and over again with other people they don't know/care about.

What would be wrong with that? If it goes back to it's roots with Origin but keeping the more refined combat system of 2 (without the facerolling and non-need for actual thought into what you were doing) but with drop-in drop-out coop where they can temporarily replace one of your party with their hero, it could work out. If they did something like a MOBA style gamemode for PVP multiplayer, but not at the expense of single player it'd be great.
