Dragon Age Inquisition

Like a Dark Souls, or Borderlands kind of system?...I agree it would be great if more RPGs implemented a system like this.

Maybe in DA, you could have one companion who is kind of a blank slate, that is always with you, a servant kind of character, and a friend could join your game and control that character?

Yeah like borderlands, or even dead island where the game you play co op is recorded to your own profile so you can continue on your own.

Visually it looks good, but its nothing on Witcher 3.

There seems to be no combat videos? No conversation videos? Nothing outside sweeping vistas.

I'm definitely NOT buying this, i will wait a good while until the public opinion is out there.

I do not want another Dragon Age 2 situation, Buy it and end up with a poor mans Witcher.

Problem with DA IMO is its generic fantasy and as such doesn't really separate it self from the rest.

Exactly.
The animations on the NPC characters didn't exactly look impressive.

Bioware would need to create the perfect game in order to regain some respect from me.

Exactly same, DA1 was a top notch game (though I never finished it, but this was due to unwanted restarts of the game and bored playing through the same stuff), but DA2 was just crap.

Gonna reserve judgement on this one till it's out like you guys, really hope they pull it back to DA1 status.

Sadly i don't think that will happen.

My guess is it'll be somewhat like DA2, just with more areas. Its using good old EA Frostbite engine, which seems to be used for EVERYTHING they produce today, so i'm not expecting deep RPG material, rather glossy stuff to allow the "RPG" name to be branded too it.

My guess is Action Adventure "RPG", but I'm happy to eat my hat if I'm wrong.
