Dragon Age Inquisition

Tbh, they don't seem that bad. Most sites are mentioning bugs, but not seriously.

This game clearly looks like the sequel we should have got before.

EA must be throwing out the dosh for good reviews again (DA2) I think I'll wait for gamer reviews first.

Yeah, initial impressions say to me, buy buy buy.
But, past releases, say wait wait wait.

Will look for a few video reviews and a like.

Read a couple of these reviews apart from some minor bugs the only issue is the main story aint amazing. But that's a personal opinion, others may love it. Plus we still have loads of other storys in the game, like the companions, sidequests etc.

First Dragon Age was great, the second not so much. And I wasnt overly interested in this one until these reviews came out...looks like I'll be spending some pennies soon :)

BioWare games always have a very basic main story concept which is little more than a plot hook. Their strengths have always been character driven. The story of DAO for instance is the Blight (kill the irredeemable and silent Darkspawn before they kill you) and the main villain has literally no personality at all and only appears very briefly in a cutscene and two dreams before the final fight. What people remember most about the game is the Ferelden civil war story, which at its core is about Loghain and Alistair more then anything else. As long as DAI continues to have interesting characters (which the reviews seem to suggest) then a story of "ancient evil tries to destroy the world, heroes try to stop it" will be good enough.

Main story is not that important. Look at Mass Effect 2. That really had nothing much in the way of main story, it was just really about putting together a team, yet it is hailed (quite rightly) as one of the best games ever.

Bioware excel at characters and lore. That's what matters.

Some very good points, that's why im not worried about the main story.

Pre-ordered Deluxe Edition for £29 and a bit of change.

Never played any of the others for my sins but i'm looking forward too it and have no bar to compare it too. i need to sink time into a game as at the moment when i do play its 30 mins here and there.

With this, GTA V, Far Cry 4, Assassins Creed all coming out around the same time its going to take me ages to get through all of these lol.
