Dragon Age Inquisition

Stupid question, if I get a steam key, will it load through steam. I hate having to load Origin for games as I use controller and the steam tv launcher to browse my games with a pad.

Thanks

It's not on Steam, it's Origin exclusive.

What extra does that include?

Oh wow.

Now let's just say I am a complete noob, which I am not obviously. But let's just say I was and I didn't know how to do this, which of course I do...but, if I was a noob with things like this, how would I go about doing it? :)

I have a paid for VPN which gives me a range of servers to choose from, so I can't recommend you a decent free one. I'm sure someone here can, though.

Just caved and pre ordered this. A wee trip to Mexico and I'm all sorted will get it pre loaded and ready and try and clear some time next week to get into it

You don't need to download through VPN, simply activate it on the Mexican/American VPN, once activated against your account. Then turn VPN off and download as normal.

Do you need to have played the previous to understand the story?

I doubt it, though you will miss a lot of stuff. Most of the characters in the game were in the previous ones. You should definitely play Origins as it is imo one of the best RPGs ever made, but steer clear of 2, it is in every way a poor game.

2 was a good game in its own right it just wasn't what everyone wanted the sequel to be. I enjoyed both of them thoroughly.

If you say so, Not getting into a petty argument about a game. Regardless, IMO 1 was amazing (not the best RPG ever but VERY good), 2 was good as a game.
