It depends on how much immersion matters to you really. If you want to feel like your decisions had consequences and have shaped the world you now see, it's important. For you, though, it might be worth doing just to understand what went before, as once you're done it tells you the story of your characters (as you've made them in the keep).

Seen enough now, positive reviews all round to plunk money down on pre-order, just seems like an eternity away

Yanks generally get all media on Tuesdays as it then gives a whole week before sales figures/charts are released on the Wednesday.
In the UK it's released on Friday because years ago stuff was released when it became in stock, no set date just chuck it on the shelves. Big retail companies hated this for advertising purposes so they sat down with the supply chains and made it so items would be stocked and released on Friday, meaning they could get adverts out on Friday and get the weekend business.
There is no law to have it on Friday but it's just carried on, also people used to work Mon-Fri so they could look forward to a game on a Friday. That said in a digital era just release the bloody lot on the same day. I also presume for online games it splits the load on the servers.

Some great spoiler free info about the new Dragon Age on yesterdays Crate and Crowbar podcast. I read a few reviews which has me excited, but the podcast covers same good stuff too. Worth a listen for the oppinion from a huge Mass Effect fan.

Nice to see "The Breach" trailer going down The Sacred Ashes route with some contemporary music.

From that videos it actually looks near identical on all 3 versions to me!
To me it looked like PC > XBONE > PS4.

I couldn't tell the difference either, cept maybe a very slight loss of fidelity on some PS4 shots.

Well i finally gave in and bought it, 31 pounds with day one dlc from unlimitedgamestore . Looks like i am going to get to ride the Ironbull after all

Compressed Youtube videos are never the clearest thing to see the differences.

PC is better but the engine itself shows with BF4 that medium/high isnt a big difference to Ultra.

Tbh if i had a medium spec rig and one of the consoles then i'd probably get it on console as im sure it will look great.
