Dragon Age:inquisition

I am 55 hours into this, trying to break it up a bit with some Driveclub now though, as someone said before never has a game done so well to hide its size, every time I open somewhere new I expect it to be a tiny area but nope... plenty to do :)

I am really pleased with this game. Sure it's not perfect but I just can't stop playing it, so much to do, great characters and an interesting game world. I would say probably their best game since KOTOR.

Also it will probably indirectly result in a better Witcher 3 when it comes next year.

The only thing that disappointed me a little was that I would have liked the main character to have had to do a little more to win the trust of the people.

So over 50 hours in now. Have just turned level 14 and only killed 1 dragon. Levelling my party up then will try the Hinterlands one again. This game is amazing. World is massive with plenty of stuff to do, I've spent so much time getting side tracked from what I started out doing. What sort of level would I be at end game? Trying to figure out roughly much is left.

Did have a bit of an issue with the assassin specialisation quest. I had acquired the 3 marks before even starting it so thought it had bugged out when it said 3/3 already as I didn't realise I had to craft the knife at a requisition table. Spent hours running round trying to find someone to drop them. I do think some of the quests are a bit short on info but it does make a nice change not to be completely hand held all the way through. Considering the size and complexity of the game though they've done a really good job on making sure everything works properly.

A friend just got this on xbox 360 and I noticed it is displaying in a very wide aspect ratio on their 720p TV and has letterboxes top and bottom. It looks horrendous and the text is all blurry. Anyone else have this issue and found a workaround? Their TV displays the xbox menu fine and has no issues with other games. Any ideas?

Started playing this over the festive season, and I couldn't be more impressed. Absolutely loving it. Has a Skyrim feel about it in terms of exploration, which is a massive bonus for me. Even just running around collecting shards is fun :)

Just got that Dragon horse mount thing, but I've not yet killed a dragon (I thought it was a pre requisite) . Can't wait to tackle that dragon in the Hintherlands ... my Tank (Blackwall) has a bunch of purple level items and tanks the dragon without dying, but my DPS dies quickly in the fight, leaving blackwall there trying to whack away at the thing for ever.

Finished it yesterday and loved every minute of it. All 110ish hours.

Just need to complete it on nightmare mode for my second plat as I got all apart from the hard and nightmare on my first play though. I think cant seem to check as I cant log on :/

got this from Santa but finding it very frustrating.. Don't really know what I'm doing and everywhere I go people attack me and totally mash my party up in seconds often 1 hit killing people..

It may be that you have wandered into something that is too high a level for you - there are random level 8s and level 12s just dotted around for no apparent reason in the earlier parts.

What character did you start with? Who are you using in your party so far? Whilst at lower difficulties you may not really need to switch up characters, it's still best to have a Warrior with a shield to run in and use the AoE taunt ability (can't think what it's called) to get aggro from all the nearby enemies so your squishies don't die.

I chose a dual wield rogue, also have Varric (a Rogue with a big Cross bow), Cassandra (A Warrior), and Solas (A Mage).

I seem to have played it for hours and there only level 4.. Thinking I might start again as I must have done something wrong.

I've defo missed something here.. keep being told to go to the war table.. I've no idea what that is.

You go to your map and then choose the world map (triangle/Y) and go back to Haven. Then make your way up to the church building. The war table is in the room at the back.

This is where you continue the story, unlock new areas and do optional things that are solely time-based (i.e. you do nothing at all but wait) and get you rewards.

Ugh I picked the wrong class to play nightmare mode lol 2 handed warrior is cannon fodder early game lol. Guess I use sera until tier2 gear and skills.

Just need to complete it for my plat. Also playing the reverse story and other choices this time.

Just finished this and I assume I have completely finished it as there are no quests undone and nothing on the war board other than the repeatable gather herbs etc

Wishing I had stuck with Nightmare mode instead of dropping to Hard as its the only trophy I never got, will definitely play it again but most likely not for a year at least as that was 83 hours spent all in.

Excellent game, but now finally time to crack on with Farcry 4 which has sat unused since starting DA.

2h warriors are incredibly squishy throughout, annoyingly :(

I have been loving this game almost 15hours so far and just about to turn level 9.
Finding the experiance as a whole the best bit. Has the scale without things spreading apart too quickly. I feel like I can pick up and play a couple of quests without having to spend half an hour remembering where I am. :)

I have not looked at mp yet, how does it work?
