Dreamcast

See i've got a dreamcast but bugger all games. How much should i expect to spend on a copy of shenmue? Stupid amounts of money i assume... :(

Don't forget Eternal Arcadia/Skies of Arcadia as well.

It's one of the best Dreamcast RPG's from the Sega Overworks development team, who would later go on to create the infamous Valkyria Chronicles for the PS3.

If you have a GameCube or Wii, you could also pick up the GameCube version of this game which sorts out a few flaws and adds in some new content/characters. though the biggest problem is the music sound quality is degraded compared to the Dreamcast version.

Either way, both versions might be hard to find or cost just as much.

I paid about £12 for mine. :) Think I got a good deal.

Power Stone = win!

:D

quite a few of these games have dropped out of regulation (dunno what the techinical term is) and are legally free download! The beauty of the Dreamcast is that it plays games wihtout a mod chip! yay.

Ferrari 355 is the game everyone needs, purely because of its brutal ways. Also because of it's tragic 3 track soundtrack... :D

Speed Demons is arcade racing genius, especially with 2 or more players.

I loved my Dreamcast, and still do! Record of Lodoss War is the best RPG I have ever played. If so many people love it now, and it is so awesome, how come it was such a flop when it was first released?! They kept boasting "4 million people online, together!" and all the servers were always empty :P

I got rid of mine with about 20 games, it had to be my fav console i owned:)
Top games i had:
Shenmue (never did finish it, i got near the end though)
Toy commander
Resident evil code veronica (seriously get this game)
House of the dead 2 with lightgun:)
powerstone
crazy taxi that was awesome try and get the second one though
dino crisis pretty good but not as good as the second one
Hidden and dangerous
Legacy of kain: soul reaver- very good game one that has to be played to understand its awesomeness
Silent scope- best sniper game ever (also try and get the sniper scope)
silver- only had demo but it was awesome so try get the full version
sonic adventure- best sonic ever made especially running away from the killer whale. It also had the coolest enemy on it... cant remember his name though.
Sonic adventure 2 not as good as the first one but still very playable.
Star wars episode 1 pod racer
tony hawks pro skater 2
Tomb raider the last revealtion for some reason its the only one of the series i actually liked.
zombie game, i cant remember its proper name but it was 4 players and was really awesome, think of streets of rage but with zombies:D

Thats the games i owned but the 3 games i always wanted was:
shenmue 2
phantasy star online
silver

I've still got my DC and while I was moving house today I came across a box full of boxed up DC stuff. Scart cable, mouse, keyboard, some games, couple of VMUs, a controller etc. I've got a decent collection of games somewhere and a mint boxed system. Sadly they'll never really be worth anything but It's still good to drag out HOTD2 or Powerstone and have a good thrash on it.

Zombie Revenge. Awesome game!

Yep if you get past the strange and clunky controls it has, then it is a really fun game. It really is just like The House of the Dead, but Streets of Rage style.

And to think, there originally was supposed to be a 3D Streets of Rage game, but the stupid morons at the Sega U.S branch disapproved of it.

I have Shenmue still in the box, never played. Might consider selling it as I'm not likely to ever play it now :( What's a reasonable price for a minter then?
